We’ve had this elevated stand for quite awhile now. It’s sturdy, attractive, and easy to use. Our chihuahua mix senior took to it right away, and she can be skiddish. We are very happy with this purchase.

I bought one of these and loved it so much that I ordered a second one for one of our other dogs. I was very nicely surprised by how much nicer these looked in our home than the bowls we’d been using. I ordered them for the elevation due to one of our larger dogs lying down while eating. But after seeing how much nicer it looked in our house, I quickly ordered a second one. I couldn’t figure out how to slant them (the holes didn’t seem to line up well for that) but, after buying a different one for a third dog that was slanted, I quickly realized there was a design flaw in slanting a water bowl. lol So, keeping these upright and elevated at the top has been perfect for our two 80-90 lb dogs. These were very easy to put together. I had them together in mere minutes.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This feeding station is solidly made and designed mainly for small to medium size kibble eaters . It was easy to assemble and bowls were set deep and appeared sturdy . It was too small for my Boxer and not suitable for his homemade meals : food spills over to the back and next to the water bowl . Also, I found that holes for adjusting the shelf look rather unattractive.

Different, but Good
We had a plastic ‘height adjustable’ food/water stand that was about 5 years old. The bowls for the old stand had to be set ‘into’ the platform on top, which unfortunately allowed water to accumulate on the platform. This resulted in ‘hard water’ stains / scaling on the plastic. Soaking it in vinegar helped, but it still always looked dirty. I decided to replace it, especially since one of the ‘legs’ was wobbly.I really like this new stand! The main selling point: the ability to ’tilt’ the platform on top at an angle. This prevents water from pooling on the platform – yay! No more scaly water stains! Plus it is very easy to put together, and it is super sturdy. Front-to-back, it takes up way less space than the old stand, which is nice in our small kitchen.You absolutely CAN place the platform so that it is STRAIGHT, not angled, if you’d like. How do I know? I tried for the life of me to make it angled, and could only get one side to tilt, so I just put it together the ‘straight’ way and then asked my husband to angle it – and he did.My husband thinks that these bowls don’t hold as much food / water as the old stand’s bowls, but I think they hold about the same amounts. The new bowls are narrower but they are deeper than the old bowls, whereas the old bowls were wider but shallower.We can’t fill the water bowl ALL the way because it will spill out (since we chose the ’tilted’ position for the platform) but it’s worth refilling it more frequently because it won’t require that we soak it in vinegar to clean off the water stains every week.The dog seems to like it. I don’t think she preferred one over the other, as long as she always has food & water she is happy.

Just WOW!!
We got one of these for our 16-year-old pug Noodles, who has mobility issues, is blind and deaf. We had been raising his bowls on 6 2×6’s, side by side, to get it at the right height for him. He can’t see the bowls, so I have to position them right under his nose before he starts to eat. He gets confused and would knock the bowls off the 2×6’s.My husband found this raised bowl set, and they looked pretty sturdy and nicer looking than a one height metal stand. With this one, you can adjust the height and the angle of the bowls.We ordered the medium, because Noodles is long legged for a pug, which I think is because he is not a pure breed (but we still love him, as he is a rescue from a horrible situation).I hadn’t written a product review yet, and just because the stand was the right height, the bowls were the wrong size for Noodles (they are too deep), was not the company’s fault. I didn’t have anything bad to say anyway.I got an email from them asking how the stand and bowls were working and I just mentioned that the bowls are a bit too deep for a brachycephalic dog. This person said that he would send out a different set of bowls and wanted me to see if they worked better for Noodles.To my surprise, I got a whole set. Stand and all! I was only expecting bowls. I emailed this person back and couldn’t thank them enough for reaching out and wanting to make this transaction 100% perfect! I wasn’t going to complain and hadn’t had the time to write a review yet. They just reached out on their own to ask if I was satisfied with my purchase.When I asked how I was to return the first set that I had purchased, they said I could keep it. I was shocked. I want to send this back to them, because I feel bad that they sent me a whole new set and the cost came out of their pocket, with no reimbursement from me for the first set.I was in customer service for years and have done a lot of business with Amazon. I can appreciate a company being so concerned with customer service. But I was not expecting to be contacted out of the blue from a company that I made a purchase from, asking how my experience was. I was certainly not complaining when I replied back. But to have them send me a replacement, when I didn’t ask, and to keep my original purchase, is beyond customer service.But, in closing, these raised bowl sets are incredible!! They look nice, made to be very sturdy, adjustable and they do just what they are supposed to. I would highly recommend these bowls and stand and the people that run this company. Far beyond my expectations.Kuddos to this company and the people that work there!!!!

Muy bonito y funciono de maravilla, lo compre para una perrita muy muy viejita que ya esta ciega y tiene problemas de movilidad, todo el tiempo pisaba sus platos y se ensuciaba y mojaba y agacharse siempre resultaba en ella cayendose. Le resulto muy facil encontrar el agua y la comida con esta base y lo utilizo sin caerse. El unico detalle por el que dejo 4 estrellas y no cinco, es que es un poquito inestable, muy poco, no creo que genere problemas a otros perritos, sin embargo, la mia al ser ciega choca con todo y temo que la pueda tirar, pero se soluciona facilmente poniendo cosas a los lados o poniendole otra madera en la parte de abajo.

Dopo aver provato tante tipologie di ciotola, ho deciso di prendere queste, per non far stare troppo accucciato a mangiare il mio micione.Ha appezzato all’istante l’altezza confortevole e si è abituato e trovato bene fin da subito.Il montaggio è stato semplicissimo, basta dare appena uno sguardo alle istruzioni perché è molto intuitivo (non con questo consiglio di montarlo alla cieca).Ha 6 regolazioni di altezze diverse, io l’ho messo a quella più alta inclinata, dato che il mio Hogan ha quasi 4 anni e non è un cucciolino.Le ciotole, in acciaio, sono profonde e, se in una ci metto i croccantini e va benissimo, nell’altra, la pappa umida ci sta troppo larga, ma non è una critica, per me va benissimo.Sempre parlando delle ciotole, oltre ad essere capienti, sono anche abbastanza larghe, infatti Hogan non ha nessun problema a infilaci tutto il suo musino (è uno scottish, quindi il muso ce l’ha abbastanza grande) e di conseguenza a mangiarci bene, riuscendo ad finire tutto il contenuto.Il fatto che siano d’acciao, rende semplice la pulizia, ma soprattutto l’igiene.Parliamo della struttura.È fatta di legno, come detto all’inizio, semplice da montare ma, ovviamente, traballa leggermente.Nel senso che, essendo “alta”, non può avere la stabilità di una ciotola che sta appoggiata in terra.Io la tengo vicino ad un muretto, quindi il problema alla fine non si pone (sia chiaro, non è che cade se il gatto mangia, dondola leggermente e basta).Nel complesso, non ho trovato difetti e se dovessi prendere un compagno di giochi a Hogan, sicuramente ne comprerei un’altra.Parlando del prezzo, devo ammettere che non è economico, ma detto tra noi, per me ne vale la pena di spendere un po’ di più e avere un buon prodotto.
