Rechargeable and Light weight
Great laser pointer. And that’s all I wanted. Not one with a flashlight and other symbols along with a dot. Have the battery one just like it and the rechargeable one is that much better. Light is bright, the pen itself is light due to no batteries. Cats, still kittens, chase it all over as part of the daily routine. My older cat. 15yrs could care less. And yes you need to hold the button down which in my opinion is better than having it on constantly and having to turn it on and off during play.

Wonderful laser pointer so far! Works from two stories up and half a block away. Strong but not offensive. Cats love it!! Will re-review if something goes wrong.

Worthless garbage
Useless piece of trash. Bought the rechargable laser because my cat likes playing with the little coin battery lasers, and this lasted one whole charge before it no longer charges or even comes on. The blue activation light comes on but the red laser beam is dead. It doesn’t even charge anymore. Lasted a single use and then quit working. If you value your time and money, you will not waste it on this piece of junk. Would rate it negative stars if I could.

My cat Purrl is now a professional laser chaser—she treats this little red dot like it’s her full-time job. My other cat, Jaspurr… well, he’s still in “training camp,” but the enthusiasm is real. I love that this laser pointer charges with a USB-C (no more endless batteries!) and the beam is nice and strong, perfect for dim-light chase sessions. It’s about the size of a pen, super lightweight, and ridiculously easy to use: plug in, unplug, aim, and let the chaos begin.It feels durable and well-made (not that I let the cats chew on it, of course!). It’s also safe as long as you don’t shine it in anyone’s eyes and finish each session with their favorite wand toy (so that they catch something and don’t get frustrated). Functionality-wise, it does exactly what it should: gets my cats blissfully tired after a few zoomie laps around the room.Highly recommend for cat parents who enjoy watching their furballs zoom like tiny athletes—and then nap like angels.

I like that I don’t have to replace the batteries.Those batteries are always a pain to find and seem to run out quickly this one I just plug it in and it’s ready to go. Lightweight , and it seems to be very sturdy.
