This is the first soft crate I have purchased. I have a wire crate that can be divided for a puppy to mature dog, a solid crate and now the soft crate. My first large dog was a standard poodle and because he was alone during the day, the crate was needed longer, not his fault, ours. Subsequently, I have had two Portuguese Water Dogs, who needed a crate only through a short period of puppy life. My most recent Portie passed away at 13.5 just before Christmas, which was a difficult loss for me. Since it’s been awhile since I had a puppy, I am trying to be prepared for whatever I need to. So, knowing that my pup will visit friends and travel with me, I want to make sure he is both safe and a good guest.With all of the background you didn’t need to know, I just received the crate and put it together. It was 3 minutes to set up and is wonderfully made. Quality is superb and visibility for the pet is great. The pup can enter both front and side and the pockets are a nice feature. It folds easily for transport and has a carry handle that once I tried it works incredibly well. This will be perfect for trips to visit friends. Can’t wait to introduce Asher, my new boy when he comes next week. Good choice for anyone who wants all of the right things in a crate!

Well made, collapses so I can get it into the back seat.
My German Shepherd Dog rides in this crate in the back seat of my pickup truck. It would also work for the back seat of about any car, I would imagine. Use a tape measure and judge for yourself, that’s what I did. I also bought a flat board that connects to the headrests of the front seats, which helps support the front side, but it was secure enough without it. There is no way a heavier prebuilt crate could have gotten into the truck, since our back truck doors don’t open wide enough, so if we were going to crate her we had to buy a collapsible. She gets plenty of air through all the mesh. I did buy another mat, since just like some reviewers mentioned the mat that comes with it seems thin. I hooked up a “baby camera” to one end that looks through the mesh so I can keep an eye on her while I drive. I like that it opens on one end, so I can let her jump onto the truck seat then walk right into it. Well-built. Good zippers. Sturdy floor. It comes with a couple extra little pouches, one on top and one hanging on one end. Nice unit.

I returned the first kennel I bought because it was too flimsy. I have a 4 month old Rottweiler puppy. He is a holy terror! He’s already 40+ lbs. He loves this kennel. I bought a therapeutic mattress for the bottom and he stays in it when needed…..no problems. It’s easy and fast to zip up.Easy to assemble. Perfect size for up to 65 lb dog would be my guess. Even with him trying to get out, at first it held perfectly. I bought 40 inch size. Great for House breaking, A couple hours of containment while you’re cleaning house or going out for a grocery shopping trip. Not for all day. Unless you have a small dog and must work and need that. I wouldn’t do it. Not because the kennel can’t handle it. But for my love for my dog. I care about his feelings. That being said.I recommend. Pictures to follow. This one is to large for regular car. Must be SUV type vehicle.

Cats love it!
Bought 2 for vacation travel with 2 cats. Plenty of room to move around in on long trips or to fit a small litter pan in. With additional purchase of a thick, foam cage pad, it makes for a better all day driving trip and fresher air than a plastic enclosed cage. Wish it had a seatbelt specific slot, but otherwise very happy with it. Cats love it so much, I also use it in house as a sleeping area for them on a window seat. So easy to get cats into it for a vet visit too! Top, side and front zip open.

Excellent Crate, But Awkward To Carry
I bought this crate to give our kitty a roomy space for long-distance travel. I agree with all the positive reviews from others, except I have one negative. If left in the van, no problem with the crate. We, however, stop at motels along our 1,600-mile route. This means we must unload the van and transport the crate into the room and then load up the next morning. The size and shape of the crate makes carrying it extremely difficult to carry. If the top was rounded instead of square – that is, tapered at the top, where the handle is – carrying would be much easier and doable by one person. Nice as it is for our kitty to ride in, with room for litter pan and water bowl, I’m not sure that we will use it for these long drives.

Perfect crate for traveling!
This crate is perfect! I bought this for an upcoming trip because it’s very distracting when my dog gets up and moves in the car. I have a 100 pound, VERY TALL German Shepherd and the 40 inch is perfect for him. He needs to duck slightly walking in, but not enough to deter him from entering. I don’t want him standing in it much, but he can if he needs to. It’s lightweight and snapped together in a few seconds. I like that’s it’s mesh as I can still mostly see out my back windshield. This will be much better and safer for traveling and I think will help to ease his anxiety as he likes his crate at home. I’m very happy with this purchase. I think this crate would be fine for regular use at home as well.

Overtime
We purchased this in 2023, and it is already ripped in multiple spots. We only use it for traveling, and when it’s not in use, it’s stored away. Our dog does not try to escape or scratch at it, so we are unsure how it could have torn in several areas. Given the limited and careful use, we’re disappointed with the durability.
