It started with JJ
ZippyPaws’ co-founder Jen adopted an adorable golden retriever puppy in 2003. Being the friendly puppy he was, JJ quickly won the hearts of everyone he met. Some of his favorite activities include sleeping with his paws in the air, rolling in the grass, and playing with squeaky plush toys.
As a business student at the University of Southern California, Jen wanted to leverage her family’s 20 years’ of manufacturing experience in the pet industry and her strong design background to create a boutique brand of pet products. ZippyPaws was established in 2011 and ever since we have created toys that embody JJ’s best qualities: playful, colorful, and loads of fun!

Great toy, especially for the price!
My boy Bruce loves this toy. He has so much fun throwing the “bucket” around, then pulling the chicken legs out. He will continue to throw around the “legs” and squeak the heck outta them! Bruce is not a dog to tear apart toys, or play tug-o-war. So I could see a dog that is rough on their toys eventually tearing them apart. But as far as I’ve seen, they are strong and durable.I bought this because a friend had given us the popcorn toy from the same company, and Bruce loved it.I will definitely be buying more of these toys from this company!

Cute toy
This is a great toy. I love the idea of it being a little challenging for your dog. Unfortunately my dog doesn’t seem to care for the concept of the toy. He either wants to just play fetch with the chicken legs or the bucket. He’s already lost one chicken leg. Overall nice soft toy that came with 3 squeaky chicken legs. Still happy with my purchase. Plus it’s a reasonable price unlike similar toys I’ve seen.

Perfect for Smaller Dogs
My dogs love to find the drumstick. They are the perfect size for a smaller dog to play with. They drag the bucket around, too. Adorable!!

Great toy! Loud squeaker
My little 5 lb. Bolonoodle puppy loves these!! He doesn’t seem to like trying to get the drumsticks out of the bucket, but he loves all the individual prices. He plays fetch with the drummies and plays with the bucket. They’re not heavy duty at all, but they’ve lasted about a month with all of his playing! I’ve even washed them on the delicate cycle in a garment bag and they came out just fine! No dryer though… didn’t wanna melt the loud squeaker- which he loves!

Love!!!
My 4yr old German Shepherd mix loves her chicken legs! This was the very first gift she got when she was 9 weeks old, and has been her absolute favorite toy ever since!!! She loves to play with the legs by tossing them in the air and catching them, and will carry them around with her everywhere. They hold up really well and just when you think they won’t squeak anymore, surprise – you hear the “squeak squeak squeak” that my girl loves so much. The only reason she gets a new bucket of legs every year, is because sometimes they just get so dirty that I can’t clean them anymore, or they disappear (she likes to hide them in the yard to play with later but sometimes we can’t find them). Highly recommend this dog toy; it’ll bring lots of enjoyment to your pup!

Bucket of chicken, Big dogs
I got the bucket of chicken and after looking through all the reviews to decide on which one (not many picture of this one), I assumed this had 2 holes like all the other ones, it does NOT, ONLY ONE HOLE. Anyway, I have 3 dogs, 13 lbs (8 y/o), 60 lbs (2 y/o) and 63 lbs (2 y/o). The small one doesn’t really have an interest in toys and this one was no different for him. The big dogs actually really liked it. My biggest concerns about getting it was that the chicken wings would be too small and they’d be able to eat it in one gulp or that the hole would be too small and they wouldn’t be able to fit their snout in. My dogs are very careful with toys, they normally keep it to the front of their mouth if it’s small, they can fit 2 of the whole chicken wings in their mouth easily so if you have a big dog you should be careful. I only let them play with toys supervised because they enjoy plush toys and although they’re not aggressive chewers, they LOVE squeaking them and brake squeakers easily (they start chewing things only after they no longer squeak). One of the squeaker broke in a week, another after about a month and the last one lasted 4 months. The last picture I added on here is it now after 5 months, they chewed the hole to make it so their snout can go in and open to get a toy, and the chickens still look the same but don’t squeak. It can keep them occupied anywhere between 2 minutes and 20 minutes. I sometimes will put more toys in the bucket to entertain longer. This was a favorite toy before the squeakers broke, now it’s only played with once in a while.

Zippy Paws toys are tough, authentic to items that we humans see in our everyday life tailored to our pups. Our pup LOVES them! I put a few treats inside, then add the smaller items back inside the burrowing bag and he can’t wait to spend time with his toy!

My 15-week-old standard poodle goes absolutely bananas for this toy. She loves the challenge of getting the little chicken legs out of the bucket and she loves to show off her prize. She’s just under 20 lbs and I don’t know if I’d recommend it for a dog larger than that, but it should keep her amused for the next few months until she’s too big.
