Worth every penny! A must have!
As household members are all returning to on-site work/school, my 3 & 8 year old dogs are left home alone all day for the first time in I don’t know how long. As a result, they’re probably confused and definitely bored. I’ve been getting them Kongs, wobbly treat dispensers and all sorts of other toys that really don’t get the intended attention. After some research I found the snuffle mats might be a more stimulating item, and settled on this one, buying one for each of them. Although they’re a little pricy, I could not be happier. It’s huge and incredibly well made. Although I can see a couple of the little felt fabric pockets not lasting very long, overall it’s super sturdy and has a lot of area for the dogs to forage through. It legit kept them busy for 45 minutes. Although they found all the treats within about 15 minutes, they walked away from their mats for a couple minutes, but then went back to double check that they found everything. Then they switched and inspected each others’ mat for another 10-15 minutes. Although the treats were gone, the scent remained so it continued to keep their interest. These mats are worth every penny paid! I am so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper one. Anyone on the fence… you wont be disappointed!

Keeps puppy busy and works that nose
Cute and loved by our puppy! Using the sense of smell is great for their brain, and this is a fun way to do that. We have a now 13 week old puppy, who quickly learned to find the treats and search the mat. It also has bells, squeezers and crinkle sounds, so he will interact with it within the treats also. There are different levels of complexity in hiding the treats.He usually finds them all in 5-10 minutes, depending on how hard we hide them

This matt is highly versatile with the variety of different areas to ‘snuffle’ in. It might be a little under marketed as I did not realize there was a squeaker in the middle. This is relevant for any dog owner whose dogs insist on destroying squeakers. I loved the pack-up straps, though my dog chewed those and there isn’t an easy way to replace thoes without taking it somewhere that can sew on new clips, but i deeply appreciate the lack of velcro!It washes relatively well, it does take a long time to dry in a dryer or otherwise. It’s held up well to being used nearly daily!

A great experience for my dog
I had not heard of snuffle mats before finding this product, and decided to give it a shot with my 3 year old Australian Shepherd mix. She is naturally very good motivated, but I had hoped that this would serve to slow her down a bit, and give her some mental enrichment. I am pleased to report that for her, it’s perfect.The mat has lots of options for hiding food (to carrying levels of success). The main snuffling strands are good quality fleece, and after several months of use, are still in good condition. The small rings are also quite good for her. However, I have not had particular success with the small pockets. The stretch out a bit too easily but don’t give the dog enough incentive to keep trying those areas (in our case).The packdown is quick and effective and it makes travel a breeze. This also served as a good stress reliever when we visit new places for longer periods of time (it is a familiar smell).I am very happy with this snuffle mat for it’s durability, ease of use/cleaning, and effectiveness with my dog.All that said, I don’t think this would work with every dog, and there are certainly some dogs that snuffling is more/less natural. If your dog is a natural snuffler, or if you are trying to give it an honest go (like in my case), I can’t recommend this mat enough.

Fun that lasts a long time but be careful of plastic buckles
My dog really loves this but the buckles should have been made out of metal or rubber for safely! He was continuously biting them so had to cut them off! Would be a five star without that hazard!

Absolutely recommend this product! We have a beagle mix who gets bored very easily but it also very food motivated.. this snuffle Matt has been perfect at keeping her entertained and out of mischief. As is states in the description, it’s durable but not indestructible, she has torn off Smalls parts of the hiding spots on the edges, but that’s not a major issue. There’s still plenty of hiding spots and doggo absolutely loves it. Super easy to clean by throwing in the wash and folds up really well to put away. Two paws up.

Un tappeto da fiuto bello grande ed articolato. Utile per tenere i cani impegnati per un po’, nascondendo all’interno delle strisce ed anelli di stoffa crocchette o biscottini. Non posso dare 5 stelle perché questi tappeti sono abbastanza costosi, rispetto ad i materiali e la fattura di costruzione. L’ho acquistato comunque perché, per i miei cani, sono sempre alla ricerca di soluzioni che li tengano impegnati e li facciano divertire anche quando siamo in casa. Nel complesso un buon prodotto
