Some adult cats may not go for it….
The overall concept is innovative. However, not all adult cats will be ok confined to such a small space. My baby boy Storm felt trapped, trying to find his way out. I, myself, am claustrophobic and he probably felt the same way. I let him out when I realized the backpack feature was not going to work for him. It may be ok if you begin use when they are kittens and can become acclimated. The zippers work fine. It can serve as a regular carrier when expanded. There is an opening to the expansion itself so it makes it easier for the cat or very small dog to walk in from behind. However, I have found it easier to put him in by unzipping the bubble. Using the expansion entrance is tricky because while you’re trying to zipper it shut, he’s trying to get out! I will be using this as an extra carrier for car trips so he can see out. Also, it helps to have an extra carrier while traveling in case he gets sick and throws up or does the other thing. I am giving it 5 stars because it is well-made, as roomy as his regular carrier, he can stand up and lay down comfortably, room for a small food dish. Just because the backpack feature did not work for my cat, it may work fine for others….it depends on the pet.

Best cat carrier alternative
Love these backpacks. The extra storage is great. Multiple ways for cats to get in and out. My 8 pound cats can curl up in it nicely, it’s very lightweight and there’s several features to make sure cats don’t escape. Cleanup is easy since it can easily be wiped down. Straps seem built well and will hold up over time. Would definitely recommend.

Sturdy and made very well
We used it today for the first time and it was made very well plenty of ventilation. I purchased the grey. It was perfect for kitty . The only negative is the padding that the cat sits on its not much padding at all but that’s very minimal I just used something I had and put it in there for him. But overall I was very happy

Great backpack for cat
It’s sturdy enough to walk around with my cat, cozy breathable space. Just not ideal for rainy days so make sure to pack it comfy enough to keep cat dry. But I love this backpack ! My cats 10lbs and fits perfectly in this

You should send me more products for me to review because this cat backpack is awesome. I bought two at a great price for me and my girlfriend and one for my brother. The cats have a good amount of room and there is a bungee strap to clip them in. It’s great.

Functional and Classy
This carrier is super cool. Plenty of room for my 6lb. cat, and the bubble enables your pet to see what’s going on around him/her. Plus, it looks like a space age invention! Being a backpack is a great help, too. Love it!

Good quality and very structured. I was a bit unsure at first since my cat is on the larger side, but it works great with no sagging at all. I love how it has the bubble for him to look around, rather than the traditional mesh screens in his regular carrier, and the front pocket to store his stuff. Great quality backpack, better than I was expecting. Our cat loves it and it fits on adults backs. Only thing I can give as a negative is the base of the bag is just the material and you feel the movement and weight change when your cat moves. I would buy again.
