Love this concept and works well
We had an old grid hexagon black mat, and it was so fragile and honestly ugly, and I saw these as an option and never heard of these, but I am so glad that I got one. It’s such a cute concept and works just fine.Just vacuuming it on top helps clean the litter

Cute and functional
I decided to try this small cute litter mat for my new kittens litter box and I really like it. I usually use pee pads around a box but wanted something with more substance.I have a very small space for my little rescue kitten that has been sick so she needed to be separated from my other kitties. This small space is also my very small bathroom so I didn’t want to be stepping on litter and thought this might help keep it a bit contained.I really like the functionality of it so far and it’s soft and adorable too. I did have one of my bigger kitties use the kitten size litter box and urine went all under everything. The mat was easy to wash and dried so quickly that it was a pleasant surprise.

Not what I was expecting
This litter mat is made out of a rubbery textured grippy stringy like material which might make it good for trapping the litter on your cat’s paws. But it’s really not great for a waterproof or any sort of bacteria harboring function, because water or even other litter or fecal matter particles can seep into the pieces of the Mat. And make it almost impossible to get out, which means it’s not safe from the pictures on the description. It looks like it was made out of a flat silicone like material that would work. Good for fountains, so I was a little bit disappointed. When this textured material arrived, also another thing that was concerning was when it arrived. There was a note in there that says to make sure whenever you unravel it. To put it in an open area or preferably outside for offgassing. This made me a little bit concerned as to what chemicals are used on this Mat. And whether or not it would be safe for my cats.So overall, I am a little bit disappointed.In this i’m using it right now.For underneath, my water fountain to catch the water driplets.But as soon as it looks a little bit dirty, i’m probably just going to have to toss it and get a different one.

To me it is not the best cat litter mat. It does not trap dirt as good. Not quick drying. Kind of sticky
