Keeps my cat happy while I work, love the interactive quality of this toy!
The cat loves this, and because of the timer/interactive settings the battery lasts much longer as the device doesn’t turn on until the cat touches it again. It can be loud on hard surfaces but seems more muffled on carpets. The cat will be entertained for a few days on one charge and it makes him want to play because of the holes in the mat that show a little feather or string here and there. The feather on top doesn’t really do anything so I wish there were 2 toys under the mat instead but that is my only complaint

Kitties seem a little frightened of the sound
I really was hoping the kitties would like this, as they go crazy for things they can chase. But one of them seems so scared of this, that she really withdrawals. Maybe it’s the noise, as it does make a loud noise that they’re not used to. So I don’t use the motor base at all any more. I do use the felt mat and drape it over one of the cat spiral tunnels just to get a little use out of it, and it adds a little intrigue to an old toy for the kitties. If I had been able to return it I wouldn’t, just not a good fit for our hise.

TOY MOVES TOO QUICKLY, SCARED MY CATS
This cat toy scared my two cats. It moves way too fast, and is very loud. Honestly I’m worried it would whip a cat in the eye it moves so quickly. I assume some cats will like it, but my cat’s definitely did not. My cats are not normally skittish. I wouldn’t recommend this toy.

Like everything, my cat loved it and now doesn’t care
I feel like it’s just par for the course with cats in the house. You buy them a toy and they like the box more. Though, this box my cat didn’t like, it was too small. The toy itself was fine, I haven’t had to charge the battery yet as my cat played with it for maybe 25 minutes and then promptly ignored it. He prefers the fact that it has feathers over the fact that it moves, and sometimes I’ll turn it on for him and he’ll just watch it. Right out of the box it was very entertaining. I wish I had thought to have my camera out to watch my old man cat look like a kitten again. Honestly the mat didn’t even get used. He was too scared at first of the moving component that we had to introduce the toy without the mat first and then once he was used to it the mat is so flimsy (it is just felt after all) that it doesn’t stay on the toy long enough to be useful. I feel like if the mat had some way of being anchored down to the floor it would function better, but at least the household got a few good laughs before it ultimately has just ended up in kitty toy box.

Different than other hide and seek toys and cats love it
My cats love this toy. The cut out holes give them a better hunting experience and keeps them entertained even if the product is turned off. The material is felt and allows them to get their claws involved and allow them to really go in for the attack. It’s held up very well with no rips or damage to two very active young cats.

This hide-and-seek cat toy was an instant hit once we figured out how to get it running — unfortunately, no instructions were included, so it took a little trial and error on my part. Once it started up, though, all of the cats loved it. It keeps them busy and engaged, which is no small feat in a multi-cat household. Watching them take turns batting at the feather and pouncing on it has been hilarious and rewarding.My only real gripe is that the toy is very lightweight, so the cats drag it all over the house during play sessions. On the upside, it charges easily and has held up fine to the rough treatment. Overall, I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a fun way to keep their cats entertained — just be prepared to track it down after your furry hunters drag it off to their favorite corner!
