Bought for a cat with a long history or wolfing down her food. This bowl does seem to slow her down and the elevation allows her more comfort. I love that this bowl ticks all the boxes, ceramic ✅ raised ✅ slow feeder ✅ cute ✅. The ridges in the bowl are not obnoxious to where it causes discomfort for a cat’s teeth, but still deep enough to keep her from scarfing her food. Bowl seems very sturdy, is heavy enough that she can’t move it while eating.

Great cat bowls
Bought two of these little cat dishes to slow my cats down from gobbling (and then throwing up) their food. They are at a good height and easy to clean. Made of strong ceramic and are pure white so go with any kitchen. I would buy again.

wish it was actually dishwasher safe!
I love this bowl so much, its helped my cat slow down with eating, but I found that it chips very easily especially if you put it in the dishwasher which is unfortunate since I would have loved if it was actually dishwasher safe like it claimed to be. its a great height for my cat too so he doesn’t have to lean down to eat. love it, just wish the quality was a bit better so it didn’t chip so much!

They’re perfect!
One of my boys has had a pattern of vomiting almost immediately after meals. I tried changing the food (even prescription food for sensitive tummies), checking him out at the vet for any other underlying issues and nothing was found…my vet said it could simply be eating too fast and told me about slow feeders! I found these raised slow feeder bowls to ease the need to hunch over and slow down his eating…and they also match the new drinking fountain I bought! So far, no vomit! I’m super happy with them:)

Inside chips from dogs tag.
My dogs tagged chipped the raised parts on the inside of the bowl the first day. I bought a second one, thinking it maybe was something else, nope. I heard it clanging while she was eating and picked up the bowl and the inside was all chipped. :/ So bummed. I like the design but the material is not good as most pets wear tags!
