This product has been so good for my small shih tzu. Its much more comfortable for her and she doesn’t fight me to get in her crate like she did with her old wire one. It also looks more pleasing in the room.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product is used for 2 French bulldogs, I seen in other posts before purchase dogs destroying it. I find it perfect for my two, visually appealing as well. I have had the product for almost a year and it’s perfect for my small home to keep my critters contained.

Flimsy door
Dog already broke the door, like several other reviews.I even reinforced it myself right away due to the reviews I read prior to purchasing.The door specifically is very flimsy.

PROS: This is a great looking piece of furniture. It’s better and so much cozier than the wire crate. My 15-pound dog loves it. That corner of the family room looks so much better now.CONS: Time-consuming to assemble, but not difficult. Directions recommend assembly by 2 people, and I’m sure it would have gone faster if I had help. The door hinges didn’t line up right. The angle was off, and they’re pretty thick steel—nothing that could be bent to fit without at least a vise and someone far stronger than I. Leaving the door off wasn’t a deal breaker because I generally don’t confine my dog, but I’d rather have the option.

I gifted this to a friend who found this very easy to assemble on her own with disabilities. The hinges were bent causing the door to warp(easily fixable will be replacing the hinges) the back panel that is a cardboard has a water stain half way up, she was able to wash it but not completely remove the stain. The side walls pre-drilled holes weren’t aligned right (not centered) so while attaching the bottom(because they have you assemble it upside down) it caused the screws to split through the walls. not easily fixable. Other than all the flaws this one arrived with it is overall sturdy easy to clean and very nice on the eyes. The friend I gifted it too is actually using it as a brooder for chicks. Despite the manufacturing flaws it will work for what its being used for.

Not for small dogs.
Definitely made for a bigger dog.I have a mini dachshund & it’s definitely too big for her bed & has too much space. Enough for her to pee & poop. Do not recommend if you have a small dog. However it looks very nice.

Easy to put together (one person) and the finished crate is nice and sturdy. I recommend assembling on a carpet or blanket so the floor and the panels don’t get scratched.

Size is good for my mini Aussie shepherd. She seems to like it so far and it’s her first experience with a kennel. For the price obviously it might not do well with a dog that is really stressed and trying to get out, but otherwise I think it’s pretty good when you consider the price of other kennels and I looked at a looooooot before landing on this one. It looks great and the corner unit style lets us get more space while also giving more room to spread out for our dog. My boyfriend built it in around 35 minutes but he used a drill to speed things up so it went together quickly. If we end up putting another one upstairs we will for sure get this one again

I happened to love it. I have silky chickens that live in the house. little babies with fur not feathers. This is their new forever home. I bought a second one, I was watching in anticipation of being able to have one left to buy cuz the seller is selling them fast at this price. I like it so much! I learned if you put the pack leader in a cage everybody else chills and settles down and they’re pretty nice to be with. We should probably take that circumstance and put it in politics, If we put our leader in jail will everybody else settle down?I totally agree, these units are for small dogs that don’t fight to try and escape. If you have an animal like my German shorthaired pointer, don’t put it in there cuz the table will be destroyed in a matter of minutes!
