Great Option for a Competitive Price
I was a little skeptical at first on DBDD GPS tracker. So I sat down, pulled it out, and started the set up. When evaluating a product, I prefer to read as little as possible and see how intuitive it is. The answer: Super clean, super simple setup.QR code to get the app from the Play Store..Log in with Google into the appQR code on the GPS track to activate the device.Autopay through google.And the collar is working. Next step was configure my favorite features: satellite map and configure a virtual fence. I was able to pretty quickly locate each in the app. The app updated located every several minutes or could be put in active tracking mode. Active tracking started a count down timer that seemed to be some metered limit. I live way out in the country and the tracking seemed to work well and gave an alert (within minutes) of our dog strolling outside the virtual fence. At $89/year, the subscription is cheaper than the subscription on more expensive collars. I did not test for water proofing and the collar does not support correction when the collar is breached. That said, I find that collar based correction rarely works. Cancellation though within Google was as simple as cancelling the google subscription.Additional Notes: The battery lasted for several days. The app goes beyond simple GPS and is designed for more complete pet health tracking, measuring activity, sleeping, and allowing you to input a plethora of details.Pros:Very intuitive installation and configuration.Low price point.GPS tracking was relatively accurate.Full featured app supports for more than a simple GPS app.Very good battery life.ConsRequires linking to your Google account. I assume this would require linking to your Apple account, on an Apple device.Requires Subscription.Requires Google Pay for subscription. I assume this would require Apple Pay, on an Apple device.Active tracking timing limitations that were not clear.Straps to connect to dog collar are of questionable strength and resilience. Our dogs play aggressive and the rubber strap will surely not hold up over time.Final thoughts:If you want this simplification of connecting the app and billing to your Google or Apple account. The DBDD GPS Tracker has a lot to offer from super intuitive installation and configuration to thoughtful, full featured pet tracking built into the app. The price point is considerable lower than the industry leaders and has features not found in those products. The hardware is a budget device by comparison, but at a cost of 1/10th to 1/20th those high end competitors, you could replace this collar several times over and still be money ahead.

The pet tracking device is no longer working. It was only working for a few months, and now I’m trying to contact the seller, but I haven’t gotten a chance to hear their response.

Great device but would be 5 stars if it worked well in my part of the woods.
Update: I got an email from the company letting me know they reset my device. It does now turn on but the location tracking doesn’t work well on my end since I live in the country surrounded by trees. Other than that I have no complaints.Unfortunately I can not in good faith give this product a 5 star review. I tried over a dozen times to get it to connect and would not. Charging wouldn’t stay on at all (charged for over 6 hours and nothing) and as soon as it came off the charger it was dead. I cannot verify the accuracy of the item but I can tell you that a subscription is required to use the product. The quality of the device feels great and it comes with a charging cable and an extra silicone color holder. Would have been an awesome product had it been able to work.

Want to find your dog get this product
Another incredible product…. I have a Belgian malinois the dog does not know the meaning of sit stay he does actually but he loves to run I mean this boy can run he did 10 mi one day and I tracked it on this GPS tracker another time when I had to go find them I also have a shark collar for training it has the audio the vibrate and then the shock I followed him on the GPS in my car got to the area that he was and then I hit the audio part of the other device that I have and within seconds he come out of the woods it was honestly it would have been a beautiful commercial.. . The product works good I’m very pleased with it the only negative is it’s in metric the distance and speed is in meters in kilometers an hour which it’s easy enough to convert on your phone but it would be nice if it was on the app other than that I’ve got no complaints I’ve had it for 3 weeks maybe a month and it has served me well already..

The rubber piece that attaches to the dog collar broke after an hour so I had to use zip ties bc they couldn’t replace it. Other than that, it worked OK I guess.

Great easy to use pet tracker for a great price
Great tracking tool. We took our dogs to a no leash park and allowed them to run around just to test out the features. The location is accurate, the tracker is easy to use and lightweight. We were able to track my dog a mile away using the app. It has a live feature where you can instantly track the location of your dog if it is lost or runs away. I love the sleep and health tracker which alerts you of any potential issues with your pet. It does have a subscription option as well for more advanced options. Great price and great buy!

Works as advertised, we like the extra layer of security for our pups
We’ve been testing this with our dogs and overall we’re really happy with it. Setup was mostly smooth, though we did hit a snag trying to sign in with Gmail — the app wouldn’t finish connecting. Switching to Apple login solved it right away, and after that everything synced quickly. Once we got past that, the tracker worked exactly as needed. The real-time location is accurate and the battery life easily lasts several days between charges. We also like the bonus stats on their daily activity If you’re willing to spend a few minutes setting it up, this is a solid choice for keeping tabs on your dogs. It’s also not super bulky and attaches easily to a collar.
