Surprisingly effective
We live on 12 acres with inadequate fencing so needed something to bring our dog back and keep him inside the boundaries of our property. He’s an Aussie and learns very quickly. He was responding to “come” but I was blowing my voice out so got the whistle. Initially thought it was useless because the whistle is so soft to my ear but, apparently, my dog can hear it perfectly from 2+ acres away and races back at top speed even when heading to his favourite locations. It took zero training to get him to respond which was a huge surprise. The low price was great value for my money and the light weight design and handy lanyard just make it a more effective tool. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Best training tool ever!!!
Out of 3 Aussies and one Border Collie the dog I needed to train responded INSTANTLY. She can be 100 ft away and just one “toot” she comes running. No more shouting her name repeatedly when she’s barking, just one short sweet whistle and she immediately responds. It’s not too loud, but effective as heck. I should have used this training method years ago, since we always have 4 or 5 dogs. Highly recommend for training. It’s a no brainer.

It was cheap but Ineffective
I wanted a whistle to recall my dog from a distance, this whistle is not very loud and overall ineffective. It grabs my dogs attention only when we are in a quite environment

It really works
At first I was very unhappy because the whistle is high pitched but not very loud. However now that I’ve been using it for my 2 Australian Shepherds regularly they come running with just one whistle.Light weight. Nice long neck strap with a detachable hook. It works!! Very happy I didn’t give up!
