Great inexpensive, easy to clean mat
I have 8 cats, so litter is a big deal. I love how big this mat is because my cats tend just just jump over smaller ones. Also, I have a litter robot, and this fits under the steps in front and still provides coverage beyond. My kitties are scared to step on the ones that are just swirly strands of plastic, plus those always get clogged up with litter you can’t ever get out and they’re hard to clean. I prefer this one, even though it traps a bit less than that style.It is rather lightweight, since it’s just foam, and sometimes the cats like to play under it (but to be fair, the ones that do that play under anything, even the heavier, more sold mats). I also have one that will tear some chunks off the edge of it.. But the best part is that it’s easy to clean. One of my cats will sometimes choose to do his number 2 business in front of the litter box rather than in it (less often now that we’ve got his arthritis under control). Having an easy to clean mat makes that a much smaller problem. I just sprinkle a little litter on it, scoop it up, and then wipe down the mat. After that happening a few times (and with the silly baby girl tearing off chunks of the edge), I don’t feel too bad throwing the mat away because it is so inexpensive. The cute patterns brighten up my bathroom, too. I make sure to always have a spare one on hand. Love these!

Finally! A litter mat I am in love with!
I’ve written a very small number of reviews over these many Amazon years. I just never take the time. However, I am in such a celebratory mood over this mat, I just have to share the joy!In our new home, the litter box is in the laundry room which is a narrow passageway into the guest bathroom. Oh the horror it was to me to think of guests having to walk through kitty litter on the floor! In comes the mat with great hope, and it totally worked with great satisfaction! I actually don’t mind walking on it with bare feet! The great thing is the litter just naturally falls into the crevices leaving an acceptable surface to walk on. The squishy nature feels good and yes you can kind of feel the litter trapped in the little crevices, but hardly so. It’s easy to sweep off and give shake from time to time; also easy to surface spray and wipe clean. I haven’t had to clean up a urine mess yet, which will occur at some point, but surprisingly not yet. Maybe the kitties are happy with it too and choose to keep it clean. Ha ha, yeah right. The remaining test is to see how easy it is to clean when a major mess comes along and have highest hopes for ease and durability in that process. I’ve tried many different mats, including washable rugs, and this one is officially my fave so far.UPDATE: Reporting on a urine mess cleanup. It happened while away on a trip so had time to seep in quite a bit and dry. Spray surface cleaning did not work, leaving a yellow stain, especially on the edges where you can see the foam. I took the mat outside and let urine cleaner sit on it overnight. I sprayed it with a hose the next morning and it was as good as new! We’ll see what happens when the next mess doesn’t have time to dry up like that. Despite a bit of a hassle, it doesn’t detract from what I love about this mat! It’s a keeper. 🙂

Pretty good mat
Pros: This mat catches some of the litter. I still find litter all over the house, but not as much. My cats don’t mind stepping on it – they would hop out of the box and over other mats to avoid stepping on them, but they didn’t seem to mind stepping on this mat. It’s also very easy to clean – I use a small dustpan to sweep up the litter on the mat. I’ve also used the vacuum cleaner and it gets the litter out of the mat too.Cons: My cats dig outside of the box so they’ve scratched up this mat during this process. It’s ripped in some places, so it’s not very durable if your cats do the same.

This Mat Works to Keep Litter Contained
I purchased this mat to help keep cat litter from spilling out into the room. Our cat’s litter box is inside a large closet and as the cats would jump out of the litter box, litter would fly everywhere and get tracked all around the condo. I was not sure this mat would help and am so happy I took a chance on it. As the cats jump down from the litter box, the litter on their paws flies onto the mat and any little pieces of litter are caught as they walk out of the closet. I found that the correct placement was crucial to enabling this mat to work as intended. It can’t be too closed to the litter box, but close enough to catch that first step as well as the next couple of steps. Easy to shake clean and wash if necessary. Great buy.

Effective until there’s an accident on the mat
Update, 5.15.202- while my initial review indicated that it does reduce the amount of litter in the house (that’s still true) there is an issue. If your cat has an accident on the mat, all bets are off. After the accident, I tried to clean it, but it was hard to get it out or the tiny perforated lines & what I did remove, retained the smell. The cats then decided that they needed to scratch it up & this material comes apart very easily. So, now it no longer looks nice & is getting torn up. It was good while it lasted.This things really DOES reduce the amount of kitty litter tracked around the house!

This mat is great, if my cat would steps or jumps on the mat right after using the litter box! I still have to clean and pickup litters on the floor but then the mess has been decreased amazingly, I could only find just few litters after placing this mat.Great price, works really well and the size is almost perfect for extra large 23”x19” litter box. I spent long enough time to find the perfect litter mats and I guess I found one, I will definitely purchase another one in the near future.Just one thing to add, my cat chewed and spitted out the foams of the mat couple of times just hope that he didn’t swallow the foams.

Keeps litter off my feet
this mat is amazing. it’s big and brightly colored and looks pretty good. I have to keep my boxes in my bathroom, right by my shower, and was tired of having litter get stuck to my wet feet every time I got out of the shower. This completely eliminates that. It keeps the litter trapped tight and once a month i just lift up the mat, vacuum the litter under it, and viola–i finally have a litter free bathroom floor.totally recommend.
