Skeptical at First. . .
I was skeptical about buying one of these. I was anxious that my cat would somehow get injured using an auto litter box as I have heard horror stores, but this one works super well. It’s a sleek, simple design equipped with sensors so it knows when your cat is approaching or inside the box. It cleans it immediately after they are done which really helps with the smell because everything goes in this pullout box underneath. My cat took to it immediately, although, I could see how others would need some additional coaxing.I liked how easy it was to assemble. I also think the app is really cool and intuitive. I liked all the data it had on there which was unexpected, such as my cat’s weight. It really makes things easy. I thought for the quality and all the features you get, the price was worth it.

Super easy and high quality.
Lightening fast delivery! Everything was included. This is a wonderful unbox-it and use-it product. Only need to insert the legs and the little “jump” platform. It works perfectly. Using it without the app [I don’t need it]. The sensors are quick in stopping movement when the cat is present, and resume to clean when cat exits. Have 3 kittens using it without hesitation. The only sound it makes is the shuffling of the litter when it rotates. I am well pleased with the size, weight of the product, the exceptionally easy use, and outstanding quality. This is a must have for any cat owner.

Very nice kitty box 🐈
I’ve been using this device for about 2 weeks, and my orange boy and I love it!My kitty is a long boy, and fits well in this big litter box with enough room to turn around in. It’s quiet, easy to use, and has several app functions that are helpful to monitor his health!The app has charts that note times the device is used, and for how long. You can also adjust how long the device will sit, after use, before a cleaning cycle starts. There’s even a warning you receive when the tray below is full and needs to be dumped, which I appreciate. My only qualm with the app is that it thinks I have multiple cats, I assume because my cat will sometimes play around around the entryway during cleanings, and may step inside to check things out, and it only picks up on part of his weight? There is one repeated weight entry that I am assuming his actual weight, and the others are just him being overly curious. 😂Only one accident has happened with this machine, but I don’t fully blame the device itself. Somehow, my cat nudged the catch tray from underneath the machine, but either there is no sensor or it wasn’t triggered. There was a big chunk of “business” in the floor waiting for me to clean up. This only happened once, and was an accident. Overall I still think this device has helped keep my litter box situation under control, and provided my kitty a cleaner space to use the restroom.

The smell is not controlled
I purchased this for the ease of cleaning and to control the smell. My 2 kittens took to it right away, it’s easy to assemble and easy to replace the litter bags. I have to change it every day, two at the most. The smell is still a factor and I am disappointed for that was the number one reason I purchased this based on other reviews.

Instructions are worthless, unclear and incomplete. You end up with a pieces that isn’t mentioned so you don’t know where it goes or what it’s for. Once I finally got it put together and turned on, all it did was dump all the fresh litter into the bin. No, it wasn’t on the dump cycle either. It literally only dumps the litter and doesn’t scoop it. Sending it back. Waste of time, money, and patience. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!

Why did we wait so long to get an automatic litter box scooper?!?!? I am going to give a detailed and honest review of this specific product below.Context: We have 4 cats that share a little box area and 8 cats total (that is not a typo). We scooped DAILY and still had odor issues after a few days after trying a million cat litter types.Pros: PRICE. We could not bring ourselves to spend $800 on the leading self-cleaning box. We got this on a black Friday sale and ordered two.- Price- Easy to set up with WiFi to our phone- Easy to assemble- They work! They have an auto setting, manual setting and you can pause it for overnight so it doesn’t wake you.- they look good- EXCELLENT for small spaces/ apartments.Cons: they are small. We have two really big cats (not fat, long and lean). If pee hits the rim of the containment area, it will leak out and onto the floor or the step up shelf that comes with the unit. We simply place a pee pad under it and problem solved. This con can be a pro if you have a very small space. But if you have maincoon cats or large lanky cats, you will likely need a larger unit.– Despite the small size and pee snags, I still gave it four stars for the price. If I have paid $300+ and it was this small and had the same issues, I would not be happy.My advice for ANYONE first using an automated box for the first time: DO NOT turn the box on for a week. We made this mistake. It freaked out one of our cats and he refused to use unit one. We set up the second unit and thankfully after 2 weeks he started to use it. We kept them on manual clean to I could control when they cleaned so as not to scare the cats. After two weeks we have it set to auto mode.Tip 2: if you have a cat that refuses to use covered litter boxes, any self-cleaning box with a cover may not be an option for you. Our blind cat is having issues adjusting, we ordered an open top self cleaning box for her to see how it goes.Tip 3: and this harkens back to the 1st advice- please resist the urge to scare your cat when it is checking out the unit. I realize humans get a kick out of scaring the crap out of their cats (then wonder why their cat hates them), but if you really want a self-cleaning litter box, you have to make this thing as un-scary as possible or they won’t use it and you will only have your self to blame.
