ENJOY CALM WALKS – The Harness Lead dog leash and harness set was designed with ultra comfortable materials to safely prevent your dog from escaping and pulling. Dogs are immediately encouraged to slow their pace by using their own resistance against the leash. Our dog harnesses gently tighten around the chest only, not around the neck or armpits.
SAFELY PREVENTS PULLING – The Harness Lead no pull harness fits all body types. When properly adjusted, the unique design doesn’t rub underneath the arms, unlike other dog leashes that prevent pulling. Our dog walking harness naturally calms down dogs, allowing a more enjoyable walk for both you and your pup. PLEASE DO NOT USE TO TIE DOG OUT, JERK, YANK OR CORRECT YOUR DOG. NEVER LEAVE DOG UNATTENDED WITH HARNESS LEAD ON.
ESCAPE RESISTANT DESIGN – The one-piece escape proof dog harness makes it impossible for dogs to get out of the harness. If your dog attempts to back out of the harness, the leash will tighten like a slip lead. Harness Lead makes the perfect escape proof harness for dogs with high energy and dogs in training. USE AS A WALKING TOOL ONLY. DO NOT USE TO TIE DOG OUT. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED AS THE LEAD WILL TIGHTEN AND IS NOT CHEW PROOF.
FITS ALL BREEDS & SIZES – It is very important to properly fit the anti pull dog harness to your dog so it gently tightens at the proper points and not around the neck. Align the movable black stops with the front leg for a perfect fit. Small/Medium fits 14-40 pound dogs, Medium/Large fits 40-120 pound dogs, and Extra Large fits 120-200 pound dogs. For all sizes, the lead extends between 4-6 feet depending on the size of the dog. Detailed instructions are included.
HANDCRAFTED IN THE USA – The Harness Lead dog harness was founded by a shelter volunteer who saw the need for a dog harness to prevent pulling and escaping in a safe way for both her and the different sized dogs in the shelter. Discover why our no escape dog harness is loved by dog shelters, volunteers, dog trainers and kennels across the world.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!!
Being a dog trainer, I’ve had the opportunity to use just about every type of ‘no pull’ device on the market. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this harness/leash!!Very simple design. Easy to put on & take off. (Once you have had ‘hands on’ & understand how it works.)Nice & FLEXIBLE. (Moves with your dog). Very SOFT SURFACE that does NOT RUB, WEAR HAIR OFF, cause SORES & CHAFING.If you follow the directions & have this properly fitted, it’s SUPERB!!I was not very sure how well this harness would work. Very skeptical about whether it would stay in place & not slip off the chest/rib cage. Decided to try it because of the many, really positive reviews (VERIFIED PURCHASES!)I wasn’t disappointed!! When fitted properly on your dog, it’s AWESOME!It’s important to know that this doesn’t fit around the neck like a collar. Adjusting the black stops so that it’s seated farther down from the neck, more on the shoulder/chest area & it truly does work like a charm!!I just got a 5 mo. old Black & Tan Coon Hound mix about 2 weeks ago. He has not learned any ‘leash etiquette’ yet! Being a ‘hound’, he loves to follow his nose. When dogs get into a behavior that’s been bred into & hardwired in their brains for YEARS, they go into ‘limbic’ mode. They get SO INTO that behavior, that they truly do not hear or see anything else. They leave the ‘thinking/learning’ part of their brain behind. My puppy is 5 months old & he’s been following his nose all that time. I needed something to get his attention. Most harnesses just don’t do that. Especially the type of harness that attaches the leash to the front of the chest. All that does is pull them off balance for a minute & then they pull harder! Those types of harnesses work very well for some dogs, but not all. It’s really hard to get the attention of a dog thats SO INTO their instinctual behaviors!!This harness works BEAUTIFULLY for that!!As soon as I received this from Amazon, I put it on my boy & we went for a walk. He’s not always constantly pulling. He does quite well for not having any leash training. But as soon as we go by a scent that catches his attention, them he pulls, HARD! It’s REALLY HARD to get his attention back on me & the walk. The pressure from the harness GOT HIS ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY!I was quite suprised that this worked SO QUICKLY & SO WELL!It’s not a CURE for pulling, but it DOES get their attention, REALLY WELL!It makes it so much easier to TRAIN them when you can get their attention!!One important thing to keep in mind, you should never expect perfection from your dog or puppy.Dog breeds have been bred for specific purposes for HUNDREDS of YEARS!! Each dog is different. Two pups from the same litter can have completely different levels of instinctual behavior. One might have a very high ‘drive’, while the other may not have much at all. It’s SO VERY IMPORTANT for dogs to experience those things.I have a hound breed that LOVES to follow his nose. I’m teaching him that it’s not appropriate for him to do that when he’s ‘on leash’…but I make sure that he has plenty of ‘off leash’ time.A dog that gets enough exercise & time to practice those natural instincts, is going to be a much, much more content.A content, happy dog is much easier to train & is much more apt to want to please you. That deepens you & your dogs relationship & makes for a happy home!!

Great pig harness
I got this harness in a size small to use on my 8-10 week old pig so I can take him outside and it worked very well. It was tight enough to stay on even when he got a little rowdy, and did not slip over his head which was a big concern for me. It’s pretty straight forward on how to use it as well and I found it to be easy.

Really amazing harness
I really love this harness. My 13 y.o. Westie never really had to be walked on a leash. Now we are in a city and every outing requires a leash walk in a lot of traffic. Crossing streets was a scary tug of war. If I was winning I felt like I was strangling her. If she was winning she slipped her head out of the collar and tried to run into traffic. At any rate this harness really makes our walks much more safe. The rope is very soft, the colors are vibrant and it is very easy to use. I love that it can be adjusted in tiny increments. She seems comfortable wearing it. My only reservation is the rubber plug that keeps the harness in place. Aside from being unattractive I am concerned that after repeated use it will wear down and stop working. I guess we’ll see. Otherwise at this point I feel it was wonderful purchase.

After six months, this thing has a permanent place in the backpack
I have a labradoodle puppy who has grown to be three times the size he was when I bought this. It still works really well. It’s nice and thick, but very light and easy for both of us to use. (I need to get a long lead of this material!) It goes on and off fast, and does restrain him pretty well. The only two small downsides are: (1) it will tighten and stay tight if you have to pull too much (this can be mitigated by stopping and easing it a bit after some epic struggle like a bunny shooting by); and (2) when the doodle’s doo is too long, I have to be careful not to catch his fur between the rubber slide stopper and the rope (he has lost a few tufts to this). I think it would fit any size dog and because it’s so light and so quick and easy to put on and take off, it’s a very useful to take along. He chewed it once when we first got it, but it barely frayed it and did not do any structural damage. Excellent product (and the colors are so nice).Update 4/1/25: So many people ask me about this combo leash/harness. A client just stopped by my office because she had looked in every pet store and couldn’t find anything like this. I sent her the link and thought I’d do an update. It’s been almost two years I’ve had this leash and other than the small chew from when he was a pup, it still looks like new. It’s simple to use and the material is soft and thick, but also lightweight. I have a huge collection of harnesses at this point and this one is one of the two I use. The other is a Blue-9 which I use when I want to be able to disconnect the leash but leave the harness on. However, if we find ourselves in a field or another opportunity to go off leash and we’re using this combo harness, I just wrap it loosely around a second time and tuck the end through the loop again and off he goes. This also works for when you want a short leash in tricky situations. Oh yes, it also doesn’t seem to stink like collars and harnesses! Can’t imagine why not, but we live in the country and I have never washed this thing. I will post a photo. Still recommended!

The Harness Lead is just what we’ve been looking for.Our 1 year old Large Munsterlander (German Gun dog) walks great on a lead most of the time, however the first walk of the day is a different story. We live close to fields and a lot of wildlife and in the morning he can smell the foxes etc and he pulls like crazy. It’s only a small walk to where we let him off the lead however he’s extremely strong and it’s exhausting. In the past, we’ve purchased so many leads/harnesses/head collars etc to combat this issue that we’ve lost count. The head collars and figure of 8’s worked great, but our boy hates them. Normal Harnesses just gave him the ability to pull even more from his chest. As he’s a gun dog, we wanted something that could not snag when he’s running around. Ideally, we needed a product easy to put on and more importantly take off when we let him off the lead. Also we did not want something too restricting. We needed a practical solution that work for us and our boy. After a lengthy search of the web, eventually I stumbled on the Harness Lead which seemed to be what we needed. The difference it has made to the early morning walk is unbelievable. He’s stopped pulling and he’s so much calmer. He’s actually learning himself how to walk nice. He’s quickly realised if he walks by our side the lead is slack, if he does gets a bit in front, the lead tightens slightly around his chest but slackens again when he reverts back. We’re so please with this purchase, this lead really works for us and our excitable young boy. It’s not cheap though, however there is a video on YouTube that shows you how to turn a normal slip lead into a harness. Just in case your dog does not like this kind of restraint on his chest, it may be worth trying the slip lead method first before parting with your hard-earned money. We ordered the small/medium size as we prefer our boy to walk to heel. It’s still fairly long though, about 4ft from his back so we do have to wrap it around our hands. If you have a really large dog or you don’t mind your dog being a long way in front, you’d probably be best ordering the Medium/LargeThe quality of the Harness Lead is spot onWe were slightly worried about purchasing the Small to Medium size in case it was not strong enough to hold our big lad. But it’s really well made, and not too thin. It’s about the same thickness as an average slip lead that you would purchase in a pet shop.

I have a 30 pound schnauzer who has backed out of multiple harnesses and pulls like crazy. His last harness was fraying at the leash attachment and with this harness, you don’t have to worry about a piece breaking and the harness failing. If I had known about this harness first, I would have saved myself a lot of money and scares with the dog getting loose. 1000% worth the money, not to mention how easy it is to put on and take off. My dog is so used this harness now that after I put it over his head, he steps into the body part by himself. If anything ever happens to this, I will definitely get another. He also pulls a lot less, although he still does pull. The only thing I would change is add more reflection tape!
