I just got this leash, and it instantly became my go-to for walking gear. I have a medium/large size dog (54lbs, who is an enthusiastic puller at times), and this leash handles everything from casual strolls to brisk jogs with confidence and comfort.The hands-free setup is excellent. I can clip the leash around my waist when we’re out for runs, and it gives me great balance and stability. I no longer have to juggle my phone, water bottle, or treats in one hand while holding the leash in the other — which makes walks so much more enjoyable.The rope feels solid yet flexible. My dog is a puller, and this seems to help him not want to pull as much. We have tried the ecollar, harness, pinch collar. He does well with all of the but giving him the freedom with this leash and having him around our waist helps with his pulling for some reason. It is thick, cute, and durable. It gets the job done. If I need to pull him closer, it is easy enough to loop it around my hand. For the money, it is very inexpensive and has mad our lives 1000x easier!

Update 8/15/25: I wanted to come back and update how much I am enjoying this leash. I have now adjusted it so I can use it as a regular hand-held leash, a hands-free leash around my waist, or hands-free crossbody style. There are several adjustable metal attachment loops so that any of these options can work at any time without further adjustment. I still have had no problems with fraying or with the attachment loops slipping. I’ve been using it twice a day for walks for about a month now and still love it.7/14/25 So far, I am delighted with this leash. I love the 10-ft length and the adjustable attachment points. I like that it has some stretch in it. It has a nice weight to it that seems to help my dog to not pull as much. I haven’t yet tried it as a hands-free leash. I would prefer if the cushioned handle were placed differently, between one or the other of the metal hooks and an attachment point. As it can’t be moved over the clips, it doesn’t serve well as a handle. I wonder if it is intended to be more a grab handle midway down the leash. I personally wouldn’t use this leash as a collar. Also the adjustable clips are not very easy to move. I haven’t had any of the problems in other reviews of the clips slipping or the leash fraying, but I have only had it about a week and used it a few times.

well made leash with a lot of adjustability
This is best used with a harness with back attachment, otherwise the leash drops to the ground and will get tangled in your dog’s legs. Fortunately, the adjustable sliders worked for me to rig up a harness of sorts to anchor it around my dog’s belly/hips so the leash doesn’t drag, and there’s still room for it to go around my waist, but there’s not as much length left to let my dog wander away from me a bit if used this way, so I’ll have to use it with a harness, that will allow the leash length for wandering a bit. Very well made and good quality.

Good heavy duty leash
This is working really well. I just had surgery and needed a way to walk my dogs that would allow me to minimally use my arms. I have a Great Pyrenees and this is strong leash. I like the number of clips and that it could be used to walk two dogs if you don’t want it attached to you. The negative is the foam handle, I don’t quite understand its use. It can slide along the leash so if your dog is pulling at all it will just slide and doesn’t give you any control. But because I don’t really want to use my hands it’s not a problem. I

Great leash!Clasps open and close easily, the cord is good and strong, doesn’t get gross when wet and has resisted the dog chewing on it well so far. The adjustable length is also nice as it can quickly be adjusted to loop over the shoulder, around the waist or just to be held by hand. The one complaint is that if the friction adjustments get flipped they can easily get tightened and with a bigger dog on the move that might turn hour waist from a 34 to a 28 unexpectedly.
