Lynxking slip lead is a great choice!
Delivered yesterday, this slip leash has greatly helped with walking 4 mo old high-energy puppy. She still sometimes pulls and manages to jump and chew on leash, but each trip around the block has gotten better. One of my neighbors saw us struggling with a buckle collar/snap on leash and ran out with a harness. Puppy figured that out in one trip around block—still pulled and chewed harness!Slip leash works like choke collar and must be correctly placed on dog to be effective and release when tension on leash drops. Makes a difference if dog walks on your left or right. Flick of the wrist lets metal ring slide away from stop to release tension. I recommend tying a couple knots in leash, one in middle and another closer to hand loop to better control dog and prevent dog from pulling leash out of your hand and escaping. (Breeder at puppy show taught me this yrs ago.) Leash is long and the two knots give control when dog is close at side or for more relaxed leash.This leash is very well made, sturdy, and good value. It has two adjustable plastic stops, one to snug high on head without choking dog and another to limit loop size so dog cannot escape when tension is loose. The stops must be sufficiently separated for leash to be effective, i.e. tighten/release. The plastic stops seem more durable and more secure than the leatherette stops on competitors’ leashes. Leash has reflective threads for nighttime safety. The metal ring around comfortable, soft padded handle could be used for a key or poop bag dispenser, but could catch on fingers if dog pulls leash from your hand. Tie the knots for better control until dog is trained.I had never used slip lead before. Unlike nose/head control which dogs hate and are difficult to put on, the slip lead is quick on/off without a struggle. This one is a very good choice.

This leash is very well made. It’s durable and works well with small dogs to large dogs. I work at a shelter so the ease of use through multiple sizes of dogs is a big plus for me.

This is a good training leash. However, it Is very stiff. I’m hoping it softens up with frequent use. I don’t mind around my wrist, but I’m not sure it is comfortable on my fur girl’s neck. The adjustable stoppers are great to keep it secure but not choking her. It is a nice leash to use for training and walks.

Amazing control for pulling and yanking pups!
I LOVE these slip leads! My bully mix is insanely strong and pulls and yanks and can pull me off my feet. I’ve owned significantly larger dogs and work in doggie daycare with a 200lb Great Dane that doesn’t pull me as hard as my boy. He’s broken every collar he’s had, the D ring bends out or the clasp breaks or he slips them etc. Daycare is where I fell in love with slip leads, they’re just better! Stops pulling dogs, better control of big dogs, easy on and off, etc. But in daycare, we have to use basic ones that pull through the ring, with no stops, so we can double slip dangerous dogs or leave them on and they’ll drop off by itself. But at home is another story. When we go out on walks, it has to lock down. I love the slide stops, they don’t slide unless you press the button. I’m trying to move the one that stops it from tightening down too much up to the top. I think I can work it through the ring. I would rather have 2 button stops to keep it from loosening too much or in case one breaks. I’m I’ve had slip leads for years and the stop is always too loose or too tight. When the stop moves, it slips down the neck and my control is lost. These stops stay in place! I will definitely be buying more! I have 2 slip leads for each one of my pups in both cars, just in case of an accident or even finding a stray, and in every room of my house, in case there’s ever a fire and we need to leave through a window. I guess I’m going to have to replace them all now haha. My only complaints about these are the rope is a little stiff, I’m hoping it’ll soften up just a little. And it’s a little too thin, I think it would be a little more comfortable if the the rope was a little thicker. The handle is great and seems secure, I adore the pattern on it, but maybe a little bit more padding would be nice. But otherwise, these are absolutely worth every penny.

Great lead but received dirty.
Now this is a review on how the lead was received. I own 4 of these, they work amazing great training lead for your pup. What I was disappointed in was this was obviously purchased and returned before I received it, as the bag was already open and the lead is dirty. The green one is how it should be but the blue was open. Just disappointing not that I’m going to return it, I’m sure my pup will put it to the test a little dirt will not change that. Just was expecting new unused.

Exactly as advertised.
This works great for quick potty trips! Once the size is set, it is the quickest to get on and off lead which helped for young puppy potty training. I do not use it for any other training or anything outside of quick trips outside.

It’s a really nice leash. It’s got an extra clip at the bottom so you can lock the size in both directions. And it looks well made.
