Gentle, Effective, and Vet-Recommended—A Wellness Boost for Pets of All Ages!
’ve been using the NOW Pet Health Omega-3 Mini Gels for both my dog and the results have been fantastic. These softgels are small, easy to administer, and packed with high-quality fish oil that supports joint health, brain function, and immune response—especially helpful for aging pets or those with seasonal sensitivities2.What sets this supplement apart is its NASC certification and endorsement by Dr. Barbara Royal, DVM, which gives me confidence in its safety and effectiveness. My dog’s coat is noticeably shinier. Plus, there’s no artificial flavors or preservatives, which is a big win for picky eaters and sensitive stomachs. The 150-count bottle is a great value and lasts a long time, even with multiple pets. I also appreciate the clear dosage guidelines based on weight, making it easy to tailor the regimen for each animal.Highly recommend for pet parents looking to support their furry friends’ overall wellness with a trusted, vet-approved supplement.

Vitamins for your furbabies
Not sure how well these pills work, I’ve been giving them to my 9lb Yorkie Silkie mix who has allergies and requires a shot every few weeks from the vet. There’s a lot of pills in the bottle, and you give it 3 times a week so it should last a good while. I also occasionally give one to my pug but I don’t know that it will help with his constant shedding. 😅 As far as taste goes they don’t mind it, they eat it just fine and poo as normal, lol. I place it hidden with their food and at first my Yorkie would single it out and put it to the side and eat his food. But afterwards he would take the pill to his bed and I’d spy and watch him eat it. It might be helping their skin, I just would have to wait a few more months to really see a difference.

Good Quality Supplement
My dog is a picky eater. The breed is known to be that way. Because of that I worry about whether or not he is getting all the nutrition that he should. This is why I was interested in this NOW Pet Health, Omega 3 Mini Gels Supplement. The bottle came well-sealed. Even though it has been very hot where I live this summer, the capsules were not melted nor stuck together. They weren’t stuck to the bottle either. There was no offensive odor and no leakage. My dog’s weight falls between doses. It says that he could have one or two. I opt for one. Sometimes I can get him to take the capsule. There are times when he won’t take it, but that is most likely due to him being so picky. When that happens I break the capsule and add it to his food. He takes it fine then. I’ve even started giving some to my cats. They have no issue taking it as long as I break the capsule and put it on food. There hasn’t been any adverse reactions from taking this supplement from either the cats nor the dog. I haven’t noticed any stomach upset nor bathroom issues.Overall, I’m pleased with this supplement. I do think the quality is good. Compared to other pet supplements that I’ve gotten, I think the value is reasonable. This is something that I’d get in the future.

Quality supplement with a taste dogs love!
Now Brand Omega 3 fish oil supplement is well tolerated by my elderly dog, who eagerly eats it without encouragement – she loves the taste of these! If you have a fussy dog, the mini-gel size is perfect for hiding within a treat, pill pocket or hot dog. The bottle comes with 150 soft-gels and per the instructions, my dog can have 3 pills, 3 times per week. Because I assumed these were a daily supplement and did not read the instructions (whoops!), I was giving these to my dog daily like the previous brand she was using…but experienced no adverse side effects. However, I am going to consult my vet to be sure on the proper dosing. As a high-energy herding dog, my elderly girl has benefited from supplemental Omega 3 for at least few years now.Now Brand supplements are a respected brand, so I feel comfortable and confident giving them to my dogs! For the quality of the supplement and the number of soft gels provided, I think this supplement is an excellent value.

Easy to administer
Small and very convenient to use. I kind of expected it to be a daily thing but three times a week is even better although that means you have to kind of keep track but we just do the best we can. Our dogs seems to eat these fine so far but she kind of eats everything and barely choose her food anyway so not sure if that’s saying much. No results obvious yet of course but will keep an eye out and will update if we see any clear results or improvement to her health.

Easy to give
NOW Pet Health, Omega 3 Mini Gels Supplement, Formulated for Cats & Dogs, NASC Certified, 150 SoftgelsThe pill is about the size of a dime, making it easy for my 50 lb dog to swallow. I gave it to her with a treat, and she took it willingly. The softgels look similar to human pills, so be careful not to mix them up. Purchased in June 2025 with a best-by date of June 2027.

Good Quality Omega-3 Supplement for Dogs
My doggie is starting to show signs of getting older so I was looking for Omega 3 supplement that could help with joint health. This brand is a family owned company that has been around since 1968. Also great that this supplement is packaged in the USA. The ingredient list includes: Fish Oil( from anchovy), Beef Gelatin, d-alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Glycerin, Water. There is no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives and non- GMO. My dog weighs 38 lbs. so 2 pills three times a week in her soft food. She is medium size so sometimes she doesn’t eat the pills and I have to give by mouth. These pills would be too big for smaller dogs or cats to hide in their food. I think it will take a few months before I start seeing results with my doggie’s joints but her fur is very shiny and smooth.
