Interactive, low sound toy for my cats!
Amazing product, and if the cats are just watching it, It does turn off but that’s when they pounce on it and they start it all up again. This is the second time that they used this toy, and they have been catching the soft feather, and with the box it comes with an extra one. I am surprised how gentle they are being, my tabby has been trying to pull the feather out while my tuxedo is trying to get the butterfly.When playing with string toys they are aggressive and hunting it down. They have been interactive with it for the last ten minutes, I know because I put a timer to see if they lost interest. They did not! The size is about the size of another ball tower they gave. Also the colored balls do not come out! It’s perfect they won’t get lost and they’ll have a better time trying too!It’s entertaining to watch them play, and it’s a good investment. Kitten Approved! Durable toy with different features.
So I waited to write this review because, at first, my kittens didn’t like the pop-out feature. The noise it made startled them. They are now adjusted to the toy and play with it often. They absolutely love the butterfly feature and play with it even when I turn it off. The balls roll easily in the tray, and it is amusing to watch them play with. I use the battery power instead of plugging it in, and it is still running strong after two months. I appreciate that I can choose which feature to run at playtime. This toy comes with an extra butterfly and a non-feather pop-out piece. The toy is noise-activated because we have been started by it going off when a loud sound happens, or we drop something. The toy is noisy, especially the pop-out feature, but I am used to a noisy home, so it is just more background noise for me. One great feature is that this toy turns off after a long period of non-use. Very durable and well made. If you don’t mind a noisy toy then definitely get this toy. Kittens approved!!!

My old Cat loves this toy
My 14-year-old cat has never had much interest in playing with toys, why should he as an indoor-outdoor cat and a mighty hunter he had No need for superfluous toys. For example, when he was a kitten we played with laser pointer 1 time, as soon as he caught that red dot he didn’t see the sense in trying to catch it again.Recently, he became an indoor only cat and I was concerned he get bored and not get enough physical activity. I started looking for interactive cat toys, I liked that this toy has 3 different functions and several different ways of setting them so the activity would change hopefully keeping him interested. Because he had never played with toys before he had no idea what to do. He would just watch it like a cat TV. I started playing with it, showing him how to use it, by knock the balls around, trying to catch the feathers that came out of alternating holes (not easy) & batting the butterfly. He caught on quick, he really liked the feathers poking out of the holes until he caught 1 and started dragging the whole toy which scared him for a moment, when he realized it wasn’t gonna hurt him (Safe toy!) he started playing with it again. The butterfly frightened him at first because it made a noise he hadn’t heard before and move really fast. I turned the toy on and started smacking that butterfly around with my hands, he took over smacking around with his paws 🐾 Once you turn it on it will run for 4 minutes then stop but when the cat touches, it turns back on. I hear him playing with it on & off for hours. If you want it to stop the toy just 1 long push on the button turns it off.My cat highly recommend this great cat toy! I do take it out of his toy rotation occasionally for a few days because just like a toddler he gets bored with his toys too.It’s very sturdy! My cat has tested that multiple times and it survived in 1 piece (it comes with replacement parts & you can order more) as well as several hotel rooms during the move.We are still on the 1st battery after many hours of play. I haven’t tried the charging cord yet because I forgot about it. I would recommend you keep the box to hold the charging cord and the extra parts making it easier to take with you and store. We ordered the green just because it was different. I don’t think my cat really cares what color it is lol he’s just having fun!!

Good fun for young and old(er)!
My 8 month old kitten went nuts over this for 45 minutes straight when we first got it. The 4 year old cat observed curiously, and eventually joined in the fun. The top cracked pretty quickly (probably from all the excited activity), but the seller was terrific about sending a replacement. The novelty has worn off, but the cats still play with this fairly regularly. You do have to turn it on again if it hasn’t been activated by your cats for a while; I wish there was a way it could stay on indefinitely. But overall, I highly recommend this toy!

Fun for cats, long lasting play
2/3 cats love it, though the mechanical noise from the toys going in-and-out seemed to scare one of them, he never played with it. They also don’t play with the track balls ever. It is a little bit loud in operation compared to similar toys I’ve had.What I love most is that the device turns on and stays on for a while, another toy I have has a “sleep mode” like this one and the cats usually stop playing with it at that point. This one activates much more easily from being smacked, so both cats have learned to turn it back on. So I can turn it on and leave it for an hour or so without much worry.The battery/USB option is nice; I recommend the batteries just to avoid any stray claws or chewing.Do note that your cats might pull it around; one of mine grabs the pop-out bits and pulls, making it clatter around. I’d leave it on a carpet/rug. They haven’t managed to damage it yet, though.
