Great snuffle mat.
One of my favorite items from Reggie. Build quality is great, and the inside flaps appear to be a seat belt like material. It’s a way better quality than some of the other felt versions on the market.The outside is a little wrinkly from being packed and shipped and that hasn’t gone away after a few uses, but that’s a small factor. Depending on how many kibble/treats I put in there, it might take 10-15 minutes before my puppy is exhausted and finished with it.

My dogs love it!
My dog loves this snuffle mat! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it smelled really strongly of chemicals when I got it. I immediately washed it when I got it because of that and let it air dry for a couple days in the hot garage. Spot cleaning isn’t really an option when you have a giant slobbery dog LOL so we shall see how it holds up to more frequent washings.

Fun and enriching
My dog seems to have fun eating from this. We like it as it provides enrichment for her, plus it slows her down from eating too fast. It’s easy to clean and holds up well. Easy to use, just simply sprinkle kibble around and you’re done.

This might be viable if you have a baby Chihuahua with no teeth… MAYBE.
Full Disclosure: I have a large bull terrier and I assumed he would destroy this, before I ordered it. That said, I spend a week letting this thing acclimate to the odor of our home so it smelled less like a new toy, and taught him to wait and watch me put food in it, like a bowl, before giving the “OK!” command. He ran over to it, and, to my surprise, sort of used it as intended for a minute. Then he pulled the guts out, with minimal effort. The materials are strong, and the little fabric loops inside are also strong, but they are apparently sewn/fastened with what looks like a single stand of dental floss. He did not even put any effort into it. Within 10 seconds, he had pulled out so many of the sewn loops that it looked like a giant muppet wig.I’m always trying new things to see what works, and, as I said, I expected him to destroy this. So please know that I am not giving a one-star review based on him fulfilling that expectation. I am giving the bad review because of how little effort he put into destroying it. The complete lack of strength in the fastening stitches is a deal-breaker. They are literally about as strong as those little plastic strands that hold tags on a new article of clothing.It takes a lot to disappoint me when I fully expected this thing to be wrecked at the time I ordered it. Consider me disappointed.

Great base, but overpriced unless you’re willing to DIY
I’m really torn on this one. I actually own two and use them multiple times a day, but only because I heavily modified them.Out of the box, the loops alone are just not challenging enough. Food is too easy to find. I ended up tying strips of felt and fleece onto each of the loops (there are a lot of loops), and that completely changed the experience. Now it actually keeps my dog busy and slows her down.What I like:Perfect size to use for a meals, keep in cars, and put in the washing machine.I also love the raised walls, this is something many mats lack, and it truly makes a difference.The material is great quality and easy to wash.The loops are very solid, none have ripped yet.What I don’t like:Way overpriced for what it is. I bought mine on sale for $33 and even that felt high. At $45 retail, it’s hard to justify. Personally I feel it should be closer to $25.It’s not challenging enough as is.Be careful with the dryer the walls will slowly collapse when it’s too hot. But dries well on low heat.Bottom Line: I love mine now, but only because I modified it and added lots of fabric to it. If you enjoy DIY projects and don’t mind the price, this is amazing. If you want something challenging right out of the box, this probably isn’t it.

Great SLO-bowl
I don’t know if it stimulates anything, but it sure slows down the eating. Tons of nooks and crannies for the food to hide. Large size makes it very difficult if not impossible to flip over and dispense all the food at once.

A great way to slow feed my dog!
These feeders work great for my dog – I bought three of them so I can toss them in the washer every few days. They should be used under supervision so your dog doesn’t chew/eat any part of it but they really help to slow my dog down and gives him more to do at meal time instead of just inhaling his food. The loops are quite tough and feel like they’re made of seat belts – which I appreciate. I wash nervous to machine wash them but they’ve done great through many washers. I even throw them in the dryer on low heat and everything seems to be holding up perfectly.
