Unmatched price-to-performance.
I really don’t have a lot to say. They are comfortable, with a good leash for an appropriate sized dog / cat, and the locking mechanism is easy to use and seems solid. One of mine did get a friction break when I left my guy outside and he rubbed it against some metal – but I just trimmed the ends, knotted them, a quick shot with a lighter to adhere the nylon and get rid of any fuzz, and it works just as well, just a bit shorter.

Finally a dog leash that doesn’t twist and get tangled up and is long enough. This has been a great product.

Not a strap, it uses a cord.
In my experience with dog leashes, those with straps tend to become entangled with the dog, which is why I highly recommend opting for a corded version, such as the one I recently purchased. While the retractable design is similar to other models, the cord is what truly sets it apart.Initially, I was hesitant about the cord’s thinness, assuming it may not be durable enough for larger breeds. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my 100lb pit bull, who tends to pull during walks, has not caused any damage to the leash thus far.Overall, I highly recommend this corded retractable dog leash for its functionality and durability, especially for owners of larger breeds.

Sturdy when it worked
The retractable dog leash worked well at first and was very convenient, but now it keeps jamming. It’s sturdy when it works, but the reliability has decreased over time.

Should Have Bought This Long Ago
I don’t know how I lived without one of these before now. This is fantastic. And I even use it on both of my Chihuahuas and they don’t have any trouble extending it out. It works great. I just hope it lasts a long time. We shall see.

Cord binds up and is not durable.
My dog likes to chew her leash, and within two days this thing was more mangled than the cheap $3 leash I bought at a store. The strap portion attached to the latch is very poor quality and means the leash won’t retract to less than two feet long, so I have to use my other hand to hold the leash shorter for training. After just two months, it’s chewed so bad that I’m worried it’ll break.Also the cord binds up way too easily, my dog will come running back to me and then go to run again and it’ll tangle up inside and lock up. Also there are no rollers where the cord goes into the casing, so it rubs and burns that area from friction.This is just overall a very poorly designed product made by people who obviously just wanted to sell a leash but don’t know much about dogs.

For those looking for a long retractable leash .. my doggie is 30 lbs and has been using this leash for 19 months now with no issues … the unit works great , never had any problems yet and the line itself is durable , been using it in -30 c weather to + 30c weather .. it’s a great leash ..

It’s EXCELLENT, I have to say though I have a small dog, it’s great and strong for my situation, puppy can run and jump and all and it’s user friendly, BUT it is a bit heavy hahaha, but it’s sooo worth it!
