Best Ruffwear leash!
This is becoming our favorite Ruffwear leash! We have the front range leash and the roamer bungee leash as well, but I am loving the switchback leash. I love that I can adjust it to wear at the waist or as a crossbody. And the lightweight clips are more comfortable for the dog without sacrificing security of clipping.

THIS LEASH IS THE BEST
This leash is the best dog leash ive ever used. Its got multiple spots to clip on to and the adjustability is infinite. The other big feature is that the clips are easy to use, but also have a locking feature so they dont come undone accidentally. The leash comes in colors to match other Ruffwear collars and harnesses, and it looks great.If theres a thing to splurge on as a dog owner, this is definitely it.

I love the versatility
They are very versatile, I love them because of that. One of my dogs pulls pretty hard so this with their harness is the best corrective measure I’ve found. The only reason I have 4 starts is because the material doesn’t feel as heavy duty as I believe it should. Especially since it’s meant for the harness that holds in the front and back at same time. Their really isn’t much to grip when it’s hooked up that way. It fits well but if the dog turns it because uncomfortable because the leash is so thin. Very expensive just thought it should be stronger quality.

Though very secure once in place, managing the clips poses a potential safety risk
Although I love the flexibility of use and the ability to use this leash around my waist, I do not like the clips. Three times now, I have taken my dog out of the car and thought the clasp had caught, just to see the end of the leash hanging and my dog several feet away still waiting to be attached to the leash. This makes it difficult unless the dog is very well trained or is being leashed in an enclosed area. Putting the leash on while the dog is still in the kennel is also not easy because of the way the clip and the safety thingy don’t always work very well. Also, it is padded pretty thick in a couple of spots, making the leash pretty stiff.

Best convertible leash on the market

Ja, zugegeben. Ruffware ist nicht so ganz preiswert. Aber bei einer Hundeleine kommt es auf Sicherheit an. Karabiner, die sich selber lösen können, erfreuen vielleicht den Hund, aber nicht Frauchen und Herrchen. Wir hatten jetzt den Fall. Ein einfacher Bolzen-Karabiner hatte sich gelöst, während sich der Hund gedreht hat. Ein Horror, denn der Hund hat Angst und Panik, und gerät schnell in den Flucht-Modus hinein. Wir haben 150m gebetet, dass unterwegs kein Störgeräusch kommt und dann entschieden, dass wir nur noch Leine mit Karabinern nehmen, die wirklich, aber auch wirklich nicht mal eben so aufgehen können. Wir haben nun komplett auf Ruffwear umgestellt. Wir müssen mit beiden Händen den speziellen Karabiner zumachen und ebenso wieder öffnen. Ein solches Prozedere haben wir noch bei keiner Karabinerart gehabt. Man kann ganz sicher sein, wenn man nicht selbst den Karabiner wieder löst, bleibt alles immer schön fest. Eine Zufallssituation oder ein cleverer Hund hat da keine Chance.Was noch sehr schön bei der Leine ist, ist die Möglichkeit, sie mal eben um den eigenen Bauch oder über der Schulter zu befestigen. Wenn man bereits einen Bauchgurt oder eine Bauchtasche beim Gassigehen hat, kann man die Leine auch in voller Länge nutzen. Oder auch einkürzen; es gibt einen Schieber dafür. Man kann auch zwei Hunde befestigen oder einen Hund doppelt.Alles ist sehr hochwertig. Es gibt auch einige Farben zum Auswählen
