Better than the double layer ones
I was looking to get new cat litter mats and I happened to notice this one. I bought two of these litter mats. I previously had the double layer waffle texture looking mats, but they were hard to clean and kept sliding around.I like that this mat is made of a sturdy silicone and it doesn’t slide around like my old double layer litter mats. These have good spill protection. I noticed there seems to be less litter around the mats/ on the floor.Not sure about the water resistance but it’s easy to wipe clean. So far I like these better than the double layer ones. These litter mats are functional and a pretty decent value.

Effective, Soft Underfoot and the Easiest Mat to Clean
I’ve gone through so many different litter mats over the years. I have a big cat, Maine Coon, with giant paws that catch an unbelievable amount of litter. And I’m a beach girl, live in a subtropical state where I’ve always gone barefoot inside. Walking barefoot on cat litter is a very unpleasant experience. This mat has little (soft) nubbies that spread the kitty’s toes out a bit and help them release the litter before it goes on the floor and everywhere. It works better at this than any other mat I’ve tried. I’ve had to put the litter box in my laundry room where I too must tread across it. It’s very soft and comfy underfoot. I also like the grooves that not only catch and hold the litter, but recently my cat pissed all over it and not a bit leaked thru or out. I just blotted it with paper towels and put it in the washer where I ran it through on a gentle cycle and then hung it to dry. Easiest cleanup ever.The only con I had was that due to my own mobility issues, my foot would catch on the higher rim on the 2 ends. I think for most people this would be a non-issue and more of a plus. But you know, I didn’t want to faceplant myself, and i really didn’t want to give up the cool mat, so I hacked it. Just took scissors and cut off the two higher ends. Problem solved. If i had it to do again. I’d carefully cut it on a cutting mat with an exacto or similar to make a neater finish, but it’s not bad, just a couple of wavy spots. If it was designed with the lower rim on the ends, like on the sides, I’d give it 5 stars.Oh, and my cat likes it, has no problem at all walking on it. Very little litter is tracked out. He’s just 20 yrs old and every rare now and then will piss on his mat, maybe he can’t get in the box fast enough these days. But washing took all the odor out and he didn’t start using it as his potty, as feared. If something happens to this one, I’m buying another.

The BEST litter mat
I was going through roughly 1 litter mat per month because my stupid fat cat scratches at it, despite having two scratching posts and the couch she’s destroyed to scratch. This one doesn’t catch litter like some other kinds do, but she always makes a giant mess so I have to sweep every day either way. BUT this is the first litter mat I’ve ever purchased that she doesn’t scratch. I’ve FINALLY found a material that the big idiot doesn’t inherently want to destroy. I’ve had it for months now and it still looks new. It’s so easy to clean. The thickness is perfect, not too thick so it fits nicely under the box but thick enough that even the enormous imbecile won’t rip through it. It’s one of the most durable things in my home, according to the colossal doofus that lives with me for some reason. Plus, it’s big and gray, like her. This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for the big fatty.

Collects litter and easy to clean
This is the best mat I’ve found. It’s a great size and I can fold it in half to collect all the litter to pour back into the box. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t retain smell. Theres a small edge around the perimeter that helps the litter stay within the mat. As long as your cat doesn’t jump really far out of the box, you’ll be good.

We used to have the 2-layer mat, but that one was a nightmare to clean, especially when our cats like to puke on the mat. This one is thick and heavy, very good quality, easy to clean, and also does much better work at holding the litter from my cats feet.

I have two cats and they have very large litter boxes. A lot of products claim to solve the issue of cats tracking litter everywhere. The new big thing is that two layered mat that appears to have gone viral. But reviews on Amazon revealed that they are difficult to clean and there is an issue of bacteria buildup. THIS mat does everything I need it to do – no more litter everywhere and easy to clean. Don’t buy into the viral mat, this one will do exactly what you nees it to do.

These litter mats are amazing! They,re sturdy, heavy enough that they don’t slide around, they keep litter from tracking, and are very easy to clean! One of my senior cats sometimes misses the litter box and those honeycomb mats and the woven ones are impossible to clean properly! The other mats get so smelly because the bacteria is packed inside the woven patterns and the income one is just a hassle. These ones were so easy to clean I was even use my mop to clean up the mess which is so much better than having to get in hands and knees scrubbing. My only complaints is that they are too short for clean litter boxes.
