Feathers may fall out
The stick is sturdy. But most of the feathers were ripped out easily on the first play. Not sure if toy or cat issue to be honest. But worth s mention that they aren’t in there very secure.

Very high-quality
This is actually way higher quality than the price. I love how it has an adjustable pole. I gifted this to a friend so that even there toddler could play with the cats with the shorter length. It even has a comfortable grip on the handle. It’s also very durable. The cats LOVE it. Would highly recommend.

this has been my cats favorite stick toy since they were kittens, the stick doesn’t break apart but instead can be taken apart so it practically doesn’t break until the feathers deteriorate, they love these toys. i couldn’t recommend them more! i bought this for my gf as well

Cat is Obsessed
My 2 years year old cat is OBSESSED with this toy. I have to hide it from her or she will meow at me while looking at it until I play with her. The feathers do come out easily as other has said, although the second one I bought on here seems to be holding up better than the first one I bought in store at Wally World. Nevertheless, the toy is cheap and kitty loves it, can’t ask for too much more!

Smartykat Frisky feather wand cat toy
Love this and my kitten did also. Many hrs of fun and laughter. The string broke. I fixed it4 x’s didn’t work it still continued to break. The string needs to be so much stronger. Great hrs of fun and more if only the string was stronger. I love the product so did my kitten. She became very disappointed as well as I. I’d bought 3 of these instead of those others I bought,haven’t received yet.. wished I’d bought more of the others.

Very small, flimsy toy: only for very young kittens
This might be ok for a really young kitten, but it is too flimsy and small for a cat over about 8 weeks of age. First, the “catnip toy” appears to be just a tiny blob that adheres to the rest of the toy with one, tiny piece of velcro (only the prickly part it just sticks to the fabric a little). It does not attach well, so it comes off immediately if a kitten even looks at it hard. Not much challenge there! Also, the wand is so short that it is very difficult to move the toy in any way enticing to a cat. Also, I didn’t realize from the picture how much of this toy is feather. (I was actually trying to avoid feathers.)

UPDATE: 07/01/2018: Since my kitty ate/destroyed the feathers of the first wand we had I ended up keeping the old wand and repurposing it. I taped 2-3 long papers you get after eating Fruit by the Foot fruit snacks. I scotched taped those to the end of the used wand and my kitty just LOVED it. They make a rustling sound and whip around in the air. I think the feathers are passé for kitty now. The papers will tear or rip every so often, but my daughter eats enough fruit snacks during the week we have replacements.ORIGINAL REVIEW:For $4 this keeps my Siamese kitten entertained for hours. This is probably his favorite by far. We made the mistake of leaving it out when we first got it and our kitty chewed up the feathers. It was still usable but looked pretty sad. We got a new one and it was like kitty Christmas! So excited to chase this new fluffy feather wand around.The string is leather, the feather attaches to a ball chain then to the leather string. All paw friendly materials that do not damage his claws or paws when grabbing.Best $4 we’ve spent, and it came with an Amazon box that the kitty likes to play in as well.

Great value, amazing product!
I bought this toy because it didn’t cost a lot and I knew my cat would tear it up, but I was shocked at its incredible quality! I have had other wand toys in the past that are made of plastic and string and never last long, but this one is sturdy and has some heft to it! There’s a little weight on the feather end of the toy that makes it fly around realistically and my kitten loves it. Great value, great product!
