Perfect
Perfect for our new cat. I wouldn’t see he is “aggressive” when it comes to food, he just gets very excited and inhales it in a few seconds. We tried lickmats but as a recent stray he tried eating the mat. These bowls are larger and have numerous “petals” that stop the cat from scarfing it down too quick. They work perfect for spreading his wet food out. Easy to clean

Okay! Use a rubber mat to keep it in place.
Product is okay. It does the job and helps my fast eater eat a little bit slower so she doesn’t throw up. I have an 8-year-old cat that this helps. The only thing that I would say it needs are rubber stoppers on the bottom. If you don’t have a mat underneath it. My cat scoots the bowl clear across the kitchen trying to get to the food.

Big flat bowl with high ridges for slow feeding
I have tried other slow feeders but this one actually has higher ridges so it keeps the kibble down and they are forced to eat slower, love that it’s so big too. 0 whisker fatique!

If your cat doesn’t use its paws to get its food, this may not be the right bowl for them
The dish looks sturdy and will probably last for a long time, but I’ll never know for sure. My cat, a 17-month-old tabby, can’t reach all the food in it, and he usually demolishes a serving of kibble within an hour of serving it. The photo shows his bowl over 12 hours after his evening feeding. Some cats may get all the food using their paws, but after several servings in the dish, he hasn’t figured that one out.The bowl is a good size for his 1/3 cup servings, and has a great depth for him to eat out of it if he could only figure out how to get to all of it. It’s heavy enough not to slide all over the wooden kitchen floor, but I’ve had to go back to his usual stainless steel plate to feed him in.

I picked this slow feeder bowl because one of my cats treats mealtime like a competitive sport, and it’s been a solid improvement. This bowl turned out to be much better than I expected. The material feels solid, not like ceramic but not like cheap plastic. The little sticky rubber feet are a great touch – once you place it on the floor, it stays put. My cat usually pushes bowls halfway across the kitchen, but this one doesn’t move.The raised shapes inside do exactly what they should. My cat now eats at a normal pace instead of ingesting everything in 20 seconds. It keeps her busy and she seems to enjoy working around the little obstacles to get every last piece of food. Cleaning is easy too, the surface doesn’t absorb any smells and rinses off right away.I also appreciated the small personal note from the business. It’s a simple thing, but made the whole item feel more thoughtful. Overall, great design, great build quality, and it actually solves the problem it’s meant to solve.

This is a very handy bowl. From what I read, melamine is practically unbreakable. Water freezing inside could potentially cause cracking, but apart from that it seems indestructible. I’ve dropped mine, and it didn’t even leave a dent.I got this as an outdoor food bowl for the stray cat that keeps coming by, so I wanted something that could withstand the elements and occasional rough handling. I am very pleased with how well it has held up so far.As far as slow feeding goes, there is a bit too much space between the obstacles to adequately slow down a tiny cat mouth. The cat does have to eat around them, so it may help a little. If your main goal is maximum slow feeding, this might not be the best choice.In my photos, the bowl is filled with about one cup of kibble. One cup is probably the maximum you want to fill it if you’re going for the slow feeding method because you want the obstacles to poke through. If you don’t care about slow feeding, you could probably load it up with two cups of kibble.

So while feeding my cat with this bowl, it does help him eat slower… but don’t think I will continue to use it.Few things I don’t like too much with it. So firstly the bowl is pretty big for a cat, specially my cat is not very big, so think it’s a bit too large. The “dumpling” shapes are too prominent, my cat keeps accidentally biting them, he has very thin canines, so a little worried for his teeth. This also makes it a bigger pain to clean (when using a sponge). And also not a fan that it’s made of plastic, wish it was ceramic.I did notice my cat does eat slower, but this isn’t really for him.

I was really surprised by the quality of this bowl, it’s honestly better than most of the dishes I have in my cupboard. The material feels solid and well-made, and it doesn’t have that cheap, flimsy feel a lot of pet bowls tend to have. My cat took time to adjust but the slow-feed design actually works, no overeating related puke since I switched him over to it.Overall, it feels like something that’ll last a long time and was worth the money
