Light weight but durable
This dog house was easy to assemble. I especially like the hold open arms for the lid. It made installing the bedding quick and easy. The only downside is the door it a little too low for our medium size dog (60 lb) I should have gotten the next size up. It’s still an excellent value for the cost.

Perfect for my sulcata tortoises!
Ordered this for my sulcata tortoises since they had outgrown their previous home. I put this together with the help of my 8 yr old daughter, in less than 15 minutes. Instructions are very simple, and assembly is too. Each piece just pops together, and then you screw a couple of hydraulic hinge things on for the lid. I love that the top opens, which makes it easy to clean out the hay/bedding, and allows me to check on them. The hinges work very well to keep the roof from falling when you need it open. Everything seems to be pretty sturdy. I’ll add some insulation to it in the winter, because they require a heat source, but I expect it to work well. And they have enjoyed it so far. Good value for the money, and should last us at least a few years before they outgrow it.

Steady, strong, one piece
Dog how was not strong enough for my Pitt Bull. Item was to expensive to ship back, more then the dog house cost. Amazon stepped up and offered a refund. Keep dog house. But I have not received the refund.

Dog house
Loved how easy it was to build, I have two 5lbs chihuahuas and they loved it! The only reason for not giving a 5 star review is because for the price I would have loved for it to have came with a door, other than that love how easy I can have access to the inside by opening the “roof” to clean it out.

nice house
this dog house is really quite nice! i was pleased to see how well the pieces fit together, and assembly was pretty darn easy. if you’re not sure, just count the tabs or screw holes, which all are in in perfect alignment. the whole house snaps together, and the only screws involved are for the hydraulic hinges that hold the top open for ease of cleaning. hopefully my dog will use it, but if not, i’m pretty sure one of my cats will.
