Perfect for keeping my cat on schedule
I absolutely love this automatic cat feeder. The 4L capacity is great, I don’t have to refill it constantly, and the timed feeding feature keeps my cat on a consistent schedule, which he really seems to enjoy. I like that I can set multiple meals throughout the day, and the portions are consistent every time.The voice recorder is a fun touch, can call my cat at mealtime even when I’m not home, and it actually gets his attention! The feeder is easy to set up, the hopper is easy to clean, and it feels sturdy and well-made.Overall, it’s made feeding my cat much easier and keeps her happy. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a reliable, automated way to manage meal times.

much better than the standard option for cats.
Much better than the standard timed feeder that you conventionally find at stores. I bought this for a large, overweight cat. It does take a little math to figure out the appropriate amount of food, but the base serving is quite small (about 5 grams of her kibble, but measured by volume, so you will need to figure out for your own individual cat). We’ve had it one month, still working fine. I love that it both plugs into the wall and has a battery backup so that it stays programmed in case of outages. I have tested that function and it works. I haven’t tried the recording function because I wasn’t interested in it.Also, its parts are easy to clean – the metal feeder bowl lifts right out of its holder and the food reservoir detaches easily for cleaning. Our cat also loves it. It was easy enough to program.

Easy to use!
We had a few all day day trips planned so I bought this to feed our cat while we were out. Worked great and fed her on the scheduled times. Portion sizes are good and adjustable. If you are looking for a simple no fuss pet feeder this is a great option.

Couple of minor quirks, but overall works great
I bought this a few months ago, because we were going away for a weekend, and our dog was going to have to be alone during a meal. He has access to the outdoors and such, but the dog sitter wasn’t available until after mealtime. Well, I wasn’t having that. I didn’t want him to go hungry, so I invested in this.Overall, it’s a great device. Easy to set up, and the food fits in there nicely. When it works, it’s works great. The sound of the food hitting the bowl has now triggered our dog to know when it’s mealtime, and he eagerly goes out.Two gripes about it:1. You must watch to see how much food is released with each unit of feed when setting it up. I have to set ours to 25 for it to be a sufficient serving size for the dog (I nearly laughed when I first set it up for 5, then saw how little came out). This isn’t a big gripe as it does give you quite a bit of control over portion size.2. I noticed that the dog was begging more than usual for treats a few weeks ago. I was curious about that, so I decided to go out at one of the scheduled mealtimes. Imagine my surprise when some kibble dust came out but hardly anything else. The rotation of the motor inside will crush some of the kibble and basically cause the motor to get stuck. It still makes the noise like it’s rotating, but doesn’t actually rotate. Fixing the jam is easy since the food container comes off very easily, but it makes me nervous about using this for extended periods of time away if we ever need it for that. I may have to invest in different food that’s smaller kibble should that happen again.

Great Feeder! Here’s an Easy Weather and Raccoon Resistance Solution for Outdoor Feeding.I purchased the VOLUAS 4-Litre feeder to feed a few of feral cats who also invite their rowdy friends Mr. Opossum and Rocky the Raccoon. Rocky in particular has really bad table manners as he will eat the entire bowl of food, with nothing remaining for the cats or the poor little possum. Feeding multiple times over the course of the night with the VOLUAS automatic feeder elegantly took care of that. I manually fill the bowl at dusk when I put the feeder out, and then the feeder is set to dispense 4 meals over the course of the night, so that even if the raccoon consumes a whole meal, the cats and possum will come by later on and still get fed. (I set up a wildlife camera and found that this process works very well, with the whole menagerie well fed and happy.)I had but one problem: It rains a bit here in South Florida, actually it rains a good deal, in fact, it rains so much that I’m building an ark in my spare time! I couldn’t find a feeder that was weather resistant, but came up with a very easy and inexpensive way to remedy that. A five-gallon bucket from either the blue or orange big-box store is easily modified to cover the entire feeder, with only a small opening for the bowl to protrude. It’s like the engineer who designed the feeder had this in mind; that’s how well it fits. The feeder is both protected from rain, and protected from the destructive effects of direct sunlight. If you set the feeder up in a remote location, the bucket makes it very easy and comfortable to carry the feeder and bowl back and forth to the house. Note: This works for the 4-Litre style, the larger feeders won’t fit.If you’ll examine the photos, you can see that the only modification to the bucket is to make two small vertical cuts with a hacksaw from the rim, then score horizontally with a utility knife. The piece then easily snaps off, and the modification is complete. I suggest placing a heavy weight (The concrete frog in my case.) on top to prevent the bucket and feeder getting tipped over, and to further secure the food storage compartment.The VOLUAS automatic feeder works great, I can only think of one wish, and that would be to add a “Bypass” Button so that if I want to skip feeding for a day or two, I can just put the unit in Bypass until I want to begin the feeding cycle again. This is a small nitpick, not a complaint, just a wish for the future.Bottom line: I give the VOLUAS automatic feeder a full Five Stars for both price and functionality.

I bought this a year ago as I wanted help to keep my dog on a consistent feed schedule with my inconsistent work schedule. Easy to set up, and despenses the correct amount of food every time. Mines been running over a year now and have had no issues and haven’t even replaced the battery yet.

Bien reçu le distributeur de croquettes, en bon état et dans les temps.Très facile pour mettre en service, les instructions sont claires. Bien sûr le message n’est pas vraiment impeccable mais le plus important est la distribution des croquettes. De petites portions que nous devons évaluer. Pour l’instant nous avons programmé 3 portions et 4 repas ! nous verrons à l’usage et nous ajusterons. Nous avons mis 4 grosses piles pour savoir combien de temps cela pouvait tenir. Ce distributeur n’est pas très gros ce qui est parfait, il est blanc avec beaucoup de sécurité : couvercle, programmateur.Le plat est indépendant en inox donc facile à laver.Je recommande ce produit

I was sceptical and not sure I needed automatic feeder but as I was unable to get a cat sitter for a short weekend gateway I decided to give this a go. It’s absolutely brilliant and actually on every day basis adds structure and better feeding routine for my cat. He loves the sound of food popping up and tends to run for every meal now. He also was a bit overweight and is now looking healthier and better having lost few extra grams, which I’m sure is thanks to better routine and portion control. The container is huge which also means I don’t need to worry about storing large cat food bag. So far worked perfectly and never failed to release a feed or get stuck.
